Kicking it right to Hester works for Raiders

Naive and foolhardy.

Those were two words skeptics used to describe Raiders coach Lane Kiffin's announcement last Wednesday that he would kick to Devin Hester.

Here are two more after the Bears' 17-6 victory over the Raiders in which Hester was a non-factor.

Bold and successful.

The Raiders gave Hester opportunities to touch the ball eight times combined on punt and kickoff returns. He managed just 48 yards - 6 yards per touch - and looked tentative, confused ... like anything but the NFL's most dangerous player against Raiders coverage teams that responded to Kiffin's challenge.
