The Bear brain trust continue to amaze as they propagate that the QB position is not really necessary anyway. The Bear "No QB Package" proved so well in the Super Bowl. Orton is better than Grossman plus the move is overdue but when will the Bears finally just cut Rexie. Is he dating Virgina McCaskey on the side?

Please end the misery cut Grossman fire Ted Phillips, Angelo & Lovie tonight.

How many years have we heard " we're going to be a good offense" ? Too many. I say " please stop making these ridiculous predictions and just go out and prove that you are going to be a good offense."

With Turner at the helm of the offense, we will never know how good any of the QB's really are. He is just a pathetic offensive coordinator. He cannot evaluate talent. Why would Orton have spent the last 3 years carrying the clipboard? Did Kyle suddenly become that much better? No, not really. He should have been playing more all along, but Turner didn't see the talent until the true QB competition this year.

Look, we all know that neither of these guys is all that good, but Rex hasn't delivered since '06. The league knows how to defend him. It's Kyle's turn if for no other reason than he is the only other QB on the team (not counting Hanie, too early). Would I rather have Jeff Garcia or a half a dozen other guys that were available? Yes, but we don't have them.

But, with Turner, the offensive line, no running game, etc., it really won't matter anyway. It's just sad though, that a guy like Turner is there, because he would have had Montana, Marino, Favre, et al., carrying the clipboard. We will never know how good Hanie is until he moves to another team or gets his chance to win a QB competition sometime down the road.

We are in for one long and losing season!

Orton spent the past 2 years on the sideline because....he still sucks

If by talent you mean only throwing for 150 yards a game, he's probably got a fair amount of that

New coaching staff and an offensive line will be the only solution!

We absolutely must have an elite O-line. A mediocre RB can gain 900+ yards, and a mediocre QB can throw more TDs than picks behind a solid line.

We're going on our 2nd year with a patchwork group. I guess my garage will be pristine come early November.

Average year this year. 7-9,8-8, best case scenario 9-7. But next year two words: Bill Cowher! Old lady McCaskey will open the purse. New coach and New O Coordinator!!!

I think either of these guys would stand a chance if they were not getting run over by opposing defenses like a monster truck running over Toyotas. You can throw a long pass when your receivers have 3 seconds to get open. I also cannot stand the arrogant posturing by Lovie with the media. He NEVER answers a question!

Wow we waited all preseason for this top secret decision. Get a clue Lovie, start being more honest with the fans or you'll be ridden out of town quick!
