He didn't abuse ANY woman that has been reported. Where do you get your obviously inside information? Cheating on your wife isn't considered abuse. Morally offensive? Most definitely! But he ONLY knocked-up a celebrity obsessed stripper and probably caught some kind of tropical disease when he boffed Paris or some other late night tramp. Briggs is no better in this regard. But abuse brings it to a criminal level.

There are better role models. It's up to YOU to look for them.

If he happens to abuse one more by the name of "saralee" then he would be my ultimate role model.

He's lucky! Butkus would have hit him harder. Then when he pounded his chest no matter what play was on next butkus would have hit him and tried to kill him literally. And thats no joke. Delhomo still didnt have a good game.

I still like Brian Urlacher, for potential, but, as somebody said previously, when Stewart is running roughshod over you and your teammates, It's best to keep your postgame comments to yourself.

As for the celebrating after each and every play, I'm embarrassed for you, if on some subsequent play, you manage NOT to do what you're paid to do. Were I coaching an NFL team, it would be the first game conduct policy statement that, even on touchdowns, act as though it were routine and expected. Imagine how demoralizing it would be for opponents to have you get back to your huddle, after having made a game-changing play, as though that was your routine responsibility, not something you show off as being above average. There was a Dick Butkus highlight play where a 3-point play was faked and was thrown to him in the endzone. Dick handed the ball to the ref and got off the field! He was supposed to CATCH THE BALL! What's to celebrate? The game wasn't over and there were a lot of potential mistakes to be avoided and he wasn't going to celebrate 'til the game was over. THAT, my friends, is a professional football play.

Oh well, I'm an old fashioned guy who remembers not-so-well-paid professionals, who really loved being in the NFL and played it to the best of their ability. Not for the cheers or the pay, for pride in football excellence.
