Our wideouts dont get any seperation because they have trouble beating the jam at the line and because they are not big enough and quite frankly just not good enough.
The deep ball is a timing pattern and you have to consistently do it for to really perfect it . But we have the same scenarios play out every game
Orton over throws slightly
WR slow getting off the line so Orton has to dump it off
WR drops a catchable ball
Orton gets sacked taking a 5 step drop
Right play call good throw but then instead of the speedster on the fly pattern its Booker or LLOyd .
We have to take advantage of some of these opportunities .Ive never seen so many chances squandered by wideouts look at Rodgers he threw several nice balls but not everyone was perfect and Driver was wideopen on most plays and even when it was tight he went hard after the ball no matter where Rodgers put it. The Bears receivers just dont do that and we are always trying to make catches with someone draped all over us . arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
