Unreal. Holmes actually said: The offense had rhythm? And also if Ben felt out of sync that may be why we lost? If he(Holmes)would've caught the BALL in the endzone we might have won! What a jackass!!!!!!!!!!

This is a non-story. Holmes does come off as a little critical of Roethlisberger, and he probably ought to talk to Big Ben about it and clarify what he meant, but basically the media is trying to fan a dying ember into a bonfire.

holmes isn't having a good year imo. his numbers are up in some areas but we are throwing the ball more. i've seen him drop many balls that could have turned a loss into a win. he needs to shutthehellup and get to work.

Much ado about nothing, Holmes was just saying it from the WR perspective, I doubt it was meant as a jab at Ben. I saw the interviews on PST, Ward basically said the same but added that their needs to be more balance.

13 carries for Mendenhall and 18 total runs is not enough (with one being a scramble). There was no real threat of a run in the 2nd half and the Bengals were able to just sit back and keep the passes infront of them.

A guy like Mendenhall and even Parker for that matter, may have a low average for a bit, but they are always prone to breaking a big gainer

holmes needs to shut the f*** up. i was listening to the game on the radio & i cant even tell u how many times i heard "and that pass is dropped". That IS NOT Ben's fault. U CANNOT blame Ben when the WHOLE team was outta sync. I think holmes has gotten awfully prideful since he got the sb mvp. When he DID NOT deserve it. Who orcastrated that drive? Who threw the perfect passes? Who threw the td pass for him to catch? Ben! So he needs to stop blaming our franchise qb and start catching balls.
(totally agree with u burn1 and bob roberts)
