HOPE THE DUMBASS HOLDS ONTO A BASEBALL BETTER THAN HE DOES A FOOTBALL. HOW CAN YOU NOT HOLD ONTO THE BALL WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING FOR THE GO AHEAD TOUCHDOWN. I WOULD HAVE FINED AND THEN RELEASED HIM.

Number one, you can't fine a player for a fumble. Number two, unfortunate, however you also have to credit the defender. It was a perfect hit/tackle. Looking at the full scope of the season, behind what was much of the way, a patch work line at times - - Mendenhall had a pretty productive season.
