Alabama's Barron leading SEC in interceptions

Nov 19, 2009 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: CBS SportsLine

Mark Barron is starting to feel at home in the secondary. No. 2 Alabama's sophomore free safety is settling into his relatively new position quite nicely after playing offense until his senior year in high school and backing up All-American Rashad Johnson last season.

Wait just a second, Boo!.......You sure that Peterson isn't leading the SEC in interceptions? He caught one against Alabama that everyone in the country saw clear as day that the refs didn't count. He had Julio Jones covered like a blanket; and on the play that Jones scored, Peterson came out of the game with a cramp. That's why he scored......because Peterson wasn't in there; plus because of a block in the back that the SEC refs didn't call. Seaux......You really think that someone besides Peterson could possibly leading the SEC in interceptions? LOL :\

You need not worry, Boo! We beat both Florida and Alabama had not the refs given the game to each to have this historic game for monetary purposes! It should be a classic game between the SEC's 2nd and 3rd best teams (behind LSU)! They should make plenty of money from such fixed matchup! Two bogus undefeated teams, BOO! Geaux Fightin' Tigers BOO! LOL :\

No.......we didn't beat Mississippi; and, because of Les Miles (ONLY) we lost that game! Our players didn't deserve to lose that game. Les lost that all by himself. I agree with you about clock management. I suppose it was Michigan. It surely wasn't at LSU! Our players are at least top 10 calibar players if Les only was aware of things. He's lost!:(

We are 9-3 and we supposedly lost to Alabama (Referee aided). In almost every game we have been dominated by statistics. Statistics don't matter. It only matters who's ahead at the end of the game; and the refs made sure y'all were. There were at least 6 obvious calls going Alabama's way; and, that very well could've changed a lot of those stats that you're referring to. Take away that 73 yard TD down had the ref seen a block in the back right in front of him. If the ref had marked off 5 yards, not 5 3/4 yards on that running into the punter, y'all would've had 4th and 1, not 4th and inches. We could've stopped 4th and 1 much easier than 4th and inches. Jefferson made a first down on our first possession, and the refs marked it back a yard from his forward motion. There were a few more than this of course. If you don't think any of this could've changed the stats, you're crazy.

No matter what, the stats don't tell who wins the game! It's the scoreboard; and the refs took that opportunity away from us, just to get two undefeated teams in a game that could be the biggest monetary game in college football history! What ashame!:\

Just like everyone in the country, Alabama fans included, knew that Peterson intercepted that ball in bounds. It was obvious by most all the country except for those replay officials that were from Mobile, Alabama!:\
