Geez O, What does the passing game have to do to get an A?! They came away with a touchdown almost every time in the red zone and had super high completion rate.

PASSING OFFENSE B

Chad Pennington was extremely efficient, spreading the ball around to eight different players. And it wasn't just dink and dunk passes this time.

....are you kidding? how is that not a A+?????????

Can't they put the bye week off until much later??? Love to catch the Bolts coming off a short week after crushing the jests (which will happen) I like 2-2. a 100% return after last year. I really like Tuna Fish.

Oh Omar, you're gonna get raked over the coals for these passing grades.

17 of 20 and 226 yards for the real QB, and a 19 yard touchdown throw by a running back. That's an 85.7% completion rate, and overall 131.2 QB rating. Not one dumb throw, no picks, and no sacks allowed. And they definitely weren't all dink and dunk throws either. Short of a 60 yard bomb thrown in, it just doesn't get any better than that.

Likewise, the Patriots' star receiver has 4 catches for 25 yards, the longest being 7 yards. SEVEN Dolphins had more than 7 yard longs. It took their leading receiver 6 catches to amass 58 yards, not even a 10 yard average. Oh, and for yards after the catch. Were you watching the same game? I belive I saw their receivers repeatedly getting smothered and TACKLED as soon as it hit their hands. Of 22 completions, maybe only 3 or 4 had yards after the catch. 156 TOTAL gross yards, then there's the 4 sacks, the pick, and forcing Cassell to fumble. This is B grade performance? Am I missing something here?

I think not. Passing offense and passing defense were about as flawless as it gets. B's are way off the mark here.

I do agree with special teams. This needs to get fixed in a hurry. Because one day they're gonna be in a tight game and a return for a TD will kill it, or a long one to allow the opponent to get close in a hurry, as you saw at the end with Hobbs getting to the 23 yard line. A D fits here, but only because Hobbs didn't take it to the house.

When a 1-17 team creams a 21-0 team...the only thing you should be giving less than an A to is our special teams.

18 of 21 for 250, 1td, 0 int, 0 sacks...that's B work.

What would be A work for a team that has only won 1 of the last 18 vs a team that had a 21 game winning streak in the regular season?

Dolphins get a C+. Beating the Pats without Brady is no big deal.

I was pleased by Sunday's game. We must remember that the Pats were without their star quarterback and starting running back. I do agree that these Pats are not the same team from last year. The Phis always gives the Pats trouble except for last year.

Did anybody notice that Jake Long was playing at right guard at times?

I meant Right Tackle--Jake long on some plays was play on the right side

Great game. Complete turn around from last week. With the exception of special teams - the Dolphins spanked NE in their home town.(And did you see all the pathetic fans heading home at the start of the 4th quarter?) Great job by our coaching staff!

O, nice to have a passing grade for a change, but 3 As, 2 Bs and a D only equals an A if you factor in a little NE extra credit. Go phins!
