Well with any luck the dems will lose some control in the Congress in a couple years and we can right some of this mess being caused now. However that is a discussion for another thread.
Agree politicians are like the Jets-always tearing everything up and starting over because they messed up in 1st place.

Forget midnight. Look forward to that." --E. Skolnick
The only problem with this is that if the Dolphins 'do' indeed sign someone at midnight, we won't be able to 'forget' about this midnight as you will have an early morning article 'reminding us' of the 'midnight transaction.'
Unless of course, you decide altogether to be consistent and not write about it. In which case you can enjoy a nice day at the beach, although a little cool and windy at the moment.

The Super Bowl Giants is a poor example. They got arguably their most important player via free agency in Plaxico Burress. They don't win a Super Bowl without that big signing.
Interestingly, Burress was drafted by the Steelers. Once he found some success and started making unreasonable demands, the Steelers did not resign him making him eligible for the FA. The Steelers have gone on to win Super Bowls without him. His replacement, Santonio Holmes, was drafted and made the Super Bowl winning touchdown in the last Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Complexico, has gone on to literally shoot himself in the ***!

Couldn't agree more Ethan!

Free agency helps, but you build through the draft. I think we finally have the organization who know this as well!

Well, we already know Dolphins unlikely to make big splash in the post season too after last year.

Agree you picking the Dolphins to go 0-16 and then seeing them make the playoffs shows your lack of a brain. However your commitment to "trollism" is excellent and would make Al Davis proud.

Al Davis accomplished the same as Dolphins in '09, no Super Bowl win.

Agree the Dolphins accomplishments in 08 were one of the greatest feats in mankind after a 1-15 season. Only an imbecile would confuse his excellency the Tuna with the cryptkeeper in Oakland.
