Patriots' Tom Brady Named NFL MVP

Patriots' Tom Brady Named NFL MVP

There are 58 comments on the CBS 5 story from Jan 5, 2008, titled Patriots' Tom Brady Named NFL MVP. In it, CBS 5 reports that:

“He gives maximum effort on every play and every game. What he did was outstanding, but I know he wants more than that. That's what you need in your quarterback.”

Add Most Valuable Player to all the other accolades Tom Brady has been collecting.

The New England Patriots' record-setting quarterback drew all but one vote Saturday in romping to The Associated Press 2007 NFL MVP award in the same manner his team romped through its schedule, going 16-0. On the way to the first unbeaten regular season since Miami went 14-0 in 1972, Brady put on a performance for the ages.

The eight-year veteran who already has won three Super Bowls helped the Patriots tear through the record books by throwing for 50 touchdowns. He beat Peyton Manning's league mark by one, and also threw 23 of those TD passes to Randy Moss, which lifted the receiver past Jerry Rice's record of 22. Read more

randy moss should have been the mvp far above any. if he isnt on the field alot of things wouldnt have went thier way this year. he opens up the field for guys that would never even see the ball if he isnt drawing all the coverage. then when all else fails, just throw it up to him in triple coverage and what should sometimes be a pick ends up a td for the pats

What bugs me now is that in an upcoming movie about the perfect Pats, Tom Cruise is going to play the part of Tom Brady! I guess they'll plant the little scientology fart in platform football shoes for his runs on and off the field too.

easy schedule? do any of you morons bother to look anything up before you post? the pats OTHER 10 GAMES out of their easy division contained 6 of this years 12 playoff teams. the colts played 4 of this years playoff teams. but you are correct, the pats had an easy schedule. if you want to talk about easy lets talk about the colts schedule. your only argument is that your team is in the best division in the afc. i will give you that but lets talk about the other 10 games. the colts only wins against playoff teams this year are against the wildcard teams. they lost to the #1 and 4 seed teams. so your team beat the lowest seed but couldnt beat the teams that will give the colts the most trouble in the playoffs.
the colts also have played 11 games in domes this year(no wind, snow, temp issues, bad footing, sun in the eyes, etc.), 5 games in very warm climate(notice how their tough division games against this years playoff teams were played late in the year inside) and one game in baltimore that was chilly but no wind or snow. THATS an easy schedule any way you slice it. by the way the pats EASY schedule had them on the road against the #2 seed in the afc this year(win), the #1 seed in the nfc on the road(win), home against the #3 and 4 seed in the afc(wins), the #5 seed in the nfc on the road(win) and home against the #6 seed in the nfc(win). not really sure how the pats being 6-0 this year against playoff teams makes them have an easy schedule but im sure you did as much research as i did before you posted.

forgot the collusion charges that are going to be filed against the colts this year. if the colts did play that last game, like they should have, the pats would have had beaten 7 out of this years 12 playoff teams. but that collusion charge is just made up right?

What the hell did the Colts have to gain by a "collusion" with the Titans? If anything Dungy and Romeo are close friends, I think he would of liked to put the browns in but is not the Colts job to worry about anything other than what gives them the best possible chance to REPEAT as S.B CHAMPS. Since we will have EVERYBODY healthy for the first time in a long time he did the right thing. The Stampede starts next week and stops in Arizona hoisting the Lombardi trophy over Peyton and the Colts head, celebrating what is right in the world of sports, truth, honesty, and winning the right way with good people we can all be proud of. N.E. SUX GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a story
Of a football team
Which is loved by the Nastiest of Fans
All of the games were won --- but no matter,
It doesn't count if you cheat.
.
.
Here's a story
Of a coach
Who wears a hoodie to the games
He likes to use the movie camera
He might be mis-interpretting the rules
.
.
Then one year the team won all their games
And we knew it was much more than a hunch
That they will lose big in the playoffs
That's why we love the Belicheat Bunch
