I'm not sure I'd put a whole lot to stock into this. Belichick is smart enough to know this ahead of time and change things up.

Unlike a certain head coach who shall remain nameless, Belichick actually prepares for that which most normal and reasonable people understand might happen. I wish the Vikings had a head coach like that. You know, one that understands when you have two timeouts left, you actually try to gain 20-25 yards to score some more points other than just taking a knee. Or a head coach that refuses to let his prima donna QB take over the team.

The vikes can know the pat's whole game plan and still won't stop them!I do feel sorry for Moss he thought he was comming to a offense where he could flourish.Instead they are a below average offense with qb that is injured phycicaly, mentaly and emotionaly...To say FARVE is terrible is an understatement.

We could hire Bill Billichek and we still would not be able to figure out how to stop them. The defense has been just as pathetic as the offense this year but they seem to get a free pass every game cause everyone is focused on Favre and all his stupid off the field crap. Remember the last time they destroyed us with the passing game?? Get ready for Act 2 on sunday Vikes fans. Ain't gonna be pretty!

-Patriots have a scary record of 2-5 on games played on Halloween
-Vikings haven't won a road game vs. the AFC East since winning in Foxborough
-in 2000, when the Vikings were still playing in the NFC Central and Drew Bledsoe was still QBing the Patriots
-PATRIOT DEFENSE — OVERALL (29), RUSH (9), PASS (30)
-Bill Belichick vs. Minnesota: 1-3 (but only 1-1 with New England)
Brad Childress vs. New England: First Meeting
-Brett Favre is 4-3 all-time when facing New England, including a victory over the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. Favre was 3-2 against the Patriots with Green Bay and 1-1 against the Patriots when he played for the Jets in 2008. Favre is 3-1 all-time in Foxboro and 2-0 against the Patriots at Gillette.
-23 The number of consecutive regular-season starts that Tom Brady has won at Gillette Stadium. The NFL record for most consecutive home wins by a starting quarterback since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger is held by Brett Favre, who won 25 straight games for Green Bay (1995-98).
-The Vikings have a ton of talent and weapons to beat the Patriots. I think the Patriots make it a point to keep Adrian Peterson in check, and they need to find a way to take away Percy Harvin. Also, Visanthe Shiancoe is a mismatch too. And on top of it they have Randy Moss deep. That is a lot of weapons to be concerned with for the Patriots defense. Lets not forget either, the Vikings defense is not to bad. We thought Matt Light struggled last week, how do you think he is going to handle Jared Allen?

Here's an interesting factoid regarding the return of Randy Moss to Minnesota.

In 12 NFL seasons, he has faced every team, except the Vikings.

Moss was scheduled to return to the Metrodome in 2007 as a member of the Raiders, but he was traded to the Patriots on draft weekend.

This year, his Patriots are due to host the Vikings on October 31. And in what will appear to be a strange Halloween trick, Moss will be at the game, in a white-and-purple costume.

Even if the Vikes lose this week vs the Pats they will end up 9-7. That should be good enough to make the playoffs!

“any questions?”
