This entire situation has made me look dumb. I talked so much non-sense about how having Randy Moss would be the best thing for the Vikings.

St. Louis, Washington, and Seattle could all put in waiver wire claims. That's if he's actually waived. Word is the Wilfs are very angry about Childress' knee-jerk reaction to Moss' on and off the field antics. When the dust settles, Moss will be waived and if I were him, I'd pray no one claims him and he can become a free agent signing with anyone he wants. Or he could just lay low and enjoy the off-season while still collecting checks from Minnesota. That would be kind of sweet revenge.

But not as much as I do...what a drama queen I thought his jaw was broken the way he was holding his chin and carried out on a wagon (poor baby) and to whine how bad he was hurt and how tough he is to do what he did ...Tom Brady played with 3 broken ribs last season..did'nt tell anyone until someone from the media mentioned it weeks after the season was over. sucks to be a Vikings fan as of Sunday's loss..How many fans bought #84?....

The Jets could use him, but they already have their quota of morons on their roster.

The press harassed John Lennon early in his career picking up on every tiny flaw. To his credit he acknowledged when he was wrong and I remember him asking that same press what we would know about THEM if every second of their life was recorded. The guy was in his twenties and living under a microscope for God's sake. Sleeping with Yoko outside in a bed was hilarious.
.
Randy doesn't have Lennon's thick skin and I can't help but feel for the guy a little bit. I don't know if your comment "This is reality TV at it's best" was metaphorical, but, in my opinion, it was dead-on. Reality TV isn't just "Survivor." It also includes paparazzi-inspired fare and the feeding frenzy we are watching around Moss.
.
.
I honestly thought that Moss would behave himself long enough to finish the season in Minnesota. When I saw him say "I've got to hold this down" at the beginning of his press conference I thought he would be OK, but as the meltdown proceeded I found myself horrified and simultaneously unable to turn away.
.
BTW the seasons not over and I still think the Vikings have a chance, but its going to be tough.

Moss is a friggin chump - i was happy to see the vikes get him back but after seeing the effort he puts in on the field im even more happy they let his sorry a$$ go. Sidney rice is a much better receiver at this point. Get him back on the field and moss wont even be remembered...

You are too kind by ending your post like that but this team has definitely proven it cannot win close games, and does not believe in itself enough to pull these games out at the end even when given the opportunity to.

Childress does have final say on the roster, I found that hard to believe, but he is supposed to work with Speilman and Brezinski(sp?)when making big decisions like cutting Moss, apparently he did not, not very smart on his part, you got to communicate with with your VP's concerning these kinds of decisions. I think his time may be runnning out.
