Theodore Roosevelt considered outlawing football due to injuries. With the mass of today's players some steps to consider: Limit substitution. 2way players would be smaller lighter faster. 375 lbs lineman would never be able to go both ways. Make all offensive players eligible receivers. This would bring smaller lighter faster . Less mass =less injuries

Hey, they are all adults, if they choose to play (and by the way, they make MILLIONS! every year)who cares if they get hurt, that's their decision.They can choose to finish college and be a doctor, or sell cars,houses etc.
Roller Ball looks like a good sport as well.
