Sanders is going to be hurting people all year long. Let him rest until he is ready to rock. I hope he paralyzes a couple of Patriots players this year, and no I am not speaking figuratively.

Hard hitter, yes. difference maker, yes. Injured half the time, unfortunatly.

If our defense could get more stops closer to the line of scrimmage he would stay fresher longer. Its gotta hurt afterwhile the way he hits.

Sanders is good against the run. He is average at best against the pass. Heath Miller owned him in 06 playoffs.

The Colts knew what they were drafting. he was injury prone at Iowa.

He reminds me a lot of Jonothan Bender, former Pacer player.
All of the skills needed to play, great athletic ability but alway hurt. The Pacer were so high on him that they spent millions of dollars on him and virtually got nothing in return!
Jonothan could not play two games in a row according to the doctors, too stressful and prone to injuries.
If you look at how many games Bob has played for the Colts and his salary, he has been paid a ton of money. I like Bob Sanders and he is a very good safety. I believe most Colts fans love him because we have not had a lot to brag about on the defensive side of the football.
The fact that he "punishes runners" and is like a "guided missles"....
hell, that's what most NFL safeties do!
It will be interesting to see how he performs this season, hopefully he can stay healthy and contribute every week. This is what is needed of all of the players to repeat!

He's opportunistic and possesses intangibles which stops the plays that count when they come his way with authority.

Bender? He never did anything. Indy doesn't win an SB unless the hitman makes it back for the playoffs.
Don't kid yourself, he's been that way since college. THE difference maker on the defense.
