Don't ask! The Colts guard information about injuries like the survival of the earth depended on it.

LOL!!! Actually, Polian and Dungy said that Gonzo's shoe didn't fit. They've had a Cobbler working on it all week and should be fine by the PO's. We'll know for sure, er, maybe,er possibly after a week of practice. Or two or maybe by the SB.

I sure hope they learned their lesson from the last time they had the bye. Makes me nervous, however we really, really needed this bye to get the guys that are hurt back up and running.

It's going to be a long two weeks, that's for sure.

Go Colts!
Beat the Chargers, Steelers or Jags!!

Dungy and the Colts didn't learn a thing from 2005. I think it was very LAME that they didn't try to win the game against the Titans. Atleast try to win by using your timeouts and better play calling for Sorgi. That was a shamefull way of laying down and giving them the freaking game, all I gotta say is LAME!! Now, I'm very nervous about the first playoff game, reminds me of Pittsburgh coming in town in 05.

I don't like bye weeks either because they can sometimes be a momentum killer. But, this one is needed to get all the injured players as healthy as possible.
Yes, it will be a long two weeks. But, the Colts will be fine. And I like their chances to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. It's going to be fun to watch.

GO COLTS!!!!!!!!

They talk like they've learned, I'm sure the past mistakes still sting. I don't think they have forgot a thing. I think they will be practicing hard without the risk of injury that they would have seen in the Titans game. Sure would have been nice to have seen such a show like we did against the Texans though...

I liked the way a lot of the reserves played in that game especially on defense. The defense has some swagger now I think the boys will turn it up a notch now. But we will need Gonzo and Marvin and all the defense we can muster to beat the PATS or the JAGS. It is becoming evident to many people the AFC South is the toughest division in PRO Football.

OH I almost forgot good job Pats on undefeated season it will be that much sweeter when we beat you in the AFC Championship Game now. lol

I want to thank the Colts for giving our city something to be proud of. You guys are wonderful and I love watching the games.
However, the Titan game was a huge disappointment, it truly looked like we just handed that one to them and that should not happen in any game, needed or not. The playoffs are meant to be for the teams that have EARNED the priviledge of playing.
Soorgi needs to be trained better or let go, he is a joke, and he will never be in a class with Peyton.
GOOD LUCK in the playoffs, GO COLTS !!!

I agree with your comments....and since the Colts DO have the experience of 2005 to draw from, I think they will be fine also. Plus, this year is so different than 2005. The team has overcome so much adversity in the regular season...it's gonna make them that much stronger in the playoffs.

Go Colts!!
Beat the Chargers, Jags or Steelers!!

Here's the best scenario: San Diego beats Tenn and plays in Indy. Jacksonville beats Pittsburgh and plays in N.E. Colts beat the Chargers. Pats lose to the Jags. Then, the Jags have to come to Indy for the AFC championship. Colts beat Jags in a close one and go on to the Super Bowl. It could happen! Pats fans really would be crying then.

Interesting scenario Greencastle. I would think your dream sequence would have the Colts becoming the team that ends NE's season though.

My own dream is this: New Englands beats the Titans, then the Jags, and finally Green Bay. Beating the Colts, Steelers, Chargers, and Cowboys is passe. Been there, done that.

Happy New Year!

If any coach likes to rest his players it is Tony Dungy...and after first playoff game...he will be able to give them even more rest! See ya in September he will be saying!

I agree as well.
This isn't 2005. It gets a little silly when one game in the past colors your every perception of a situation.
This is a very different year and this team is on the verge of being at its healthiest and strongest of the season. Players have stepped in, stepped up and made this a great one.
Look what this team has done with injury upon injury. They are 13 and 3 with key players out off and on all year and one throw away game. Adversity after adversity and yet they are 2 games from the Super Bowl.
Don't stress. They are as good if not better than anyone in the playoffs and will show the world that in two weeks. I feel sorry for whatever team comes to our house.
