Yes, he can be replaced, but anyone who willingly goes by the nickname "Booger" will be missed.

Would anyone be interested in Tank Johnson? He appears to be the best available free agent and if anyone can help his off the field issues, I would think it would be Tony Dungy.

Not to mention, I don't think he was a problem with his teammates as much as he had problems with the law in Chicago...and the violation that got him kicked off the team, was essentially speeding with a blood alcohol level below the legal limit

man, all the people from outside Indy just can't wait for the Colt's to fall.

They're going to win the division and go deep into the playoffs. You can bank on it.

Yes but Tank has to serve an 8 game suspension so he'll miss half the season. I'd say, lets call Simeon Rice or Michael Strahan!!

GO Horse!!! We are talkin about the Colts, they will be fine as long as we have Peyton with Marvin, Reggie, gonzo, Dallas and Addai. let the doubters doubt and let the Colts keep playin Colts football.
our run D. can be any worse than last year and who got the ring???

Rice isn't very good against the run. Tank Johnson or Strahan would be the best bets to help out our beleagured defensive line. We should have some money to spend with the retirement of Tarik Glen and the cutting of Corey Simeon. Looks like we'll find out now how serious the Colts are about defending their Super Bowl Crown. They need to find a 300 pounder who can clog up the middle and give their speed guys the ability to run free and make tackles.

If any of them can play DT we'll be fine does anyone remember what our defense was like before Booger? Does anyone remember how the offense could not get on the field without Booger? Does anyone rember getting run all over for 200+ yards weekend and week out? The fact of the matter is they need another DT to be competitive.

AARGH--is it at all possible for the Colts NOT to lose all their D to injury. It is like Groundhogs Day every year! I never see the Pats or SD ever get this bad? What is going on?? AARGH!! This could really be a 6-10 season!

Tank Johnson? Good idea. Let's try to sign Michael Vick for a backup while we're at it.

Thank you Mr. McFarland, it was nice working with you while you were healthy. I still don't believe you gave 100% every game.(See Jacksonville games)

Time to find another player and cut our financial losses with Booger.

Maybe the Colts could get Dan Wilkinson to fill in for McFarland. He's available and he's a wide body.

This is why the Colts should have selected Alan Branch with that first pick. Several people, including myself, posted this on draft day. I like Gonzo, who wouldn't, but at some point you must address the defense. The run D was a joke before what do ya think it is now? I even like the Keho kid but they MUST get a huge Tackle and upgrade the LB position. Yes he has a Superbowl but I still say Pulion is a moron. Thank God we have Peyton Manning!!!

What?? Either you're an idiot or you're getting him mixed up with Simon. Either way, you're an idiot. McFarland is a huge loss. It could be a rough season this season. Either way, Patriotcom's post is the stupidest thing I've read in quite a while. Then again, he does have the word Patriot in his screen name, so that should tell you a lot. The good news for Colts fans is the Patriots have cancer and his name is Moss. It's going to be fun watching that team implode. Hopefully, they'll figure out a way to make up for all of these losses out on 56th street. They usually do. This offseason has been a little rougher than most as far as defections and injuries go, but I'm sure they'll be fine. Either way, we'll definately miss McFarland and I don't feel he is as replacable as a lot of other people do. This one along with Glenn could really hurt. Patriotcom is a donkey. Go Horse.

He seems to be working things out and I agree with you. Let's give this guy a shot. Seems we are having so much difficulty with our interior linemen, we can't have enough! I don't believe for a moment he would be a hindrance to the Colts. We may be just what he needs. And vise versa.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Taurus

Try to keep your energy a little bit more under control. If you scatter in all directions, you'll end up hot and bothered. Mars tends to rev up your engine, but an awkward aspect to Saturn will make everything go in stops and starts. As soon as you try to shift into higher gear you meet immovable objects at the moment, so the solution is to slow down. There are wonderful, uplifting influences hanging around as well as tricky ones, so just hang in there.
