antonio cromartie is the SHIT!

with a bunch of the best players at their position in the league (cromartie, LT, gates, merriman, j williams), we've got waaayyy too much talent to fall short again this year. is this finally the chargers' year???

it just might be. i believe they will definitely have a good chance at the super bowl this year. my early offseason prediction for the afc championship is going to be san diego vs. jacksonville. they both have a good chance at making it but i might have to take jacksonville in a nail biter just because of the two back tandem in fred taylor and maurice jones-drew. and if san diego does prevail i wont be surpised because of LT and a couple other players. i have never been so excited about a season this early. its going to be great.

okay... if kobe wasn't a laker i probably wouldn't like him either. but you gotta respect his skills. just like mj was an asshole but i respect his abilities.

i was born and raised in LA so i'm a laker fan, so no matter WHAT i will always cheer for the purple and gold. plus it helps supplement the pain form being a chargers fan. haha

the only reason i cant stand kobe is because such a whiny @$$. just to see that stupid look on his face everytime he dont get a call he wants or something that goes against him just annoys me. he just doesnt ever think anything is ever his fault. hes either blaming his teammates or the officials. and it seems like anytime the organization wants to make a decision, then it has to go through kobe. hes the reason shaq and gary payton left and the reason for malone retiring when he did. kobe is the most selfish player in the nba just like t.o. is the most selfish player in the nfl. t.o. is always blaming his teammates and coaches to just like kobe. nothing is ever his fault. i cant stand either one of them.

dude, you are GROSSLY misinformed. kobe is NOT the reason shaq, malone and payton left. regardless of what you believe, kobe is not the gm of the lakers. word to the wise: don't believe everything you read on ESPN or on other biased sports networks.

it's funny how jordan bitched at every call- now THAT guy owned the refs and the NBA because he was a sellout and the golden boy of the nba. jordan could do no wrong and had plenty of serious issues but virtually NEVER gets criticized for it.

you need to realize that kobe is public enemy #1 because of his personal life problems (colorado case).

don't get me wrong, i agree that kobe still has to mature and grow as a player, but he is no where near as bad as most people think.

i think he gets too much credit. mj was ten times the player of kobe and didnt bitch near as much as kobe. i dont know how he was a sellout either. kobe bitches and points the finger at his teammates and everone else but himself. i dont believe everything that we here on espn but it does seem to me that everything the organization does has to go through him. im wouldnt surpised he even had a say in hiring of who works in concession stands. if you havent matured after you have been in the league for 12 years now then i kind of wonder if you ever will. and why do i need to realize that kobe is public enemy #1 because of the rape case in colorado. he brought that all on himself even if he is innocent and the girl was willing. the fact is is that he cheated on his wife and that is adultery.

from what i've seen this past season kobe has grown up. even before that actually because the man has ALWAYS BEEN 110% FOCUSED ON THE FLOOR. that whole incident last summer was blown up and hyped 150%.

the fact about shaq is: he left because the lakers couldn't keep both hime and kobe. the lakers gm obviously made the right choice. speaking of shaq... he has been proving of late exactly how much of a giant douche he really is. i've known that for years. too bad no one really criticizes his stupid ass actions. total media bias.

did you ever consider the possibility that malone and payton left because they failed in '04 and they were old? nope, you'll just resort to the hater mentality that it's kobe's fault.

instead of playing the adultery card, do you ever wonder how many of them DON'T cheat on their wives??? it's a minority for sure. they're like rockstars and EVERYWHERE they go they have their pick of hotties. the avg joe has never experienced that fact of life for athletes and i wonder if i would be able to keep faithful if that happened to me on a nightly basis.

btw, very funny quote: "im wouldnt surpised he even had a say in hiring of who works in concession stands."

yes, he is 100% focused on the court. but that incident from last summer wasnt blown out of proportion. he changed his mind about being traded like three different times. he went on one radio station and said he wanted traded and then a couple hours later he said he didnt. i dont know how shaq is a douche bag. and the lakers definitely made the wrong move. shaq is the most dominant player of all time. and the reason that gary payton and karl malone did leave because they failed in 04'. they left because shaq left and they knew the lakers couldnt win without him.

dude, come on --- that incident last summer was completely overhyped! it was nearly ALL speculation and panic. did you actually here any of the radio interviews??? i heard ONE because only ONE existed. the rest was bullshit. the fact is, the lakers management promised kobe that they'll go after quality teammates. meanwhile, they go and start some ahole named SMUSH FUCKING PARKER at the pg for TWO SEASONS??? that guy was/is shit. what kobe did was he fanned the flame under our GM's ass! and rightly so because it worked...

you don't know how shaq is a douche bag??? are you kidding me???

he's a fucking child. he WAS dominant but was also annoying as a laker. he was lazy as fuck in LA and had/has maybe 25% of the work ethic kobe bryant has. after leaving LA, he bashes phil jackson and kobe and then continues his lazy ways in miami. then after leaving the heat, he bashes riley and his old teammates. then he busts some whack ass rap about kobe losing in the finals when his new team failed to even make it to the 2nd round!!!??? that guy is a lazy, classless oversized child.

and for the record, KAREEM AND WILT were far more dominant than o'neal! however, if shaq had actually worked his ass off and reached his potential, he could very well have been considered one the most dominant. but he never did, so he never will.

well, i listened to the two that were both in same on espn and i heard there was another one. i dont know if you know this but shaq also went to miami and won a championship. i know that d-wade did a lot for the heat that year but so did shaq. shaq didnt do as much as d-wade but the heat still wouldnt of won it without him. the rap that he did about kobe was hilaious i thought. i usually wouldnt support somebody doing something like this but since it was shaq on kobe i loved it. yes, his team did lose in the first round but the lakers also got to play denver and the suns played the spurs. the nuggets were one of the worst defensive teams in the league last year to. and steve nash just got outworked by tony parker. so that isnt shaq's fault. i know the lakers beat the spurs but they also had games 1 and 5 handed to them. most people dont realize game 1 but in the last minute and a half of that game tim duncan was literally getting raped in the ass by odom and gasol. there were 3 incidents in that period where there were calls he definitely should of gotten but didnt. pau gasol jumping all over him and dont get called for it, odom slaps duncan in the arm like 3 times in a row and gasol clearly slaps the ball out of duncans hands out of bounds and it was called lakers ball twice. in game 5 i dont know how anybody can say it wosnt a foul on fisher for jumping on barry. even if it wasnt a shooting foul then it still should of been 2 free throws and barry was shooting like 95% on the year including the playoffs. so im pretty sure he would of hit both of them. and that would of tied the game up to go into overtime. and as far as kareem abdul-jabbar and wilt chamberlain being more dominant than shaq is definitely false. so who is the one that thinks everything that is said on espn is true now.

i am very happy with my life. im really not a laker hater, i just cant stand kobe's immature whiny ass ways and that face that he gives the officials when he knows he was caught doing something just annoys and pisses me off. i use to liked kobe before the whole deal with shaq. and i really do think it was kobe who started that whole thing. you may not but i do and that is just my opinion. i think the only reason you dont is because you are a lakers fan and kobe is still in LA and doing well for you. im not a fan of the lakers or either team that shaq went to.
