Training camp is an amazing thing! It completely turned around the way I view Jammer. During an autograph signing session his small son was toddling around behind his dad. His lip began to quiver as he repeated, "I want to sign, too" over and over again. I found a roster and a pen, and motioned to a security man, and had "Mr" Jammer "sign" my roster. He was all smiles, and I now have both dad and son' "signatures" on the same page. What was really amazing was to watch Quentin interact with his son. He was constantly turning around to make eye contact with him, picking him up for a quick squeeze, playing with him ... It was heart warming to watch. And Quentin was gracious enough to give me a second signature so I could have his next to his son's. After that quick meeting, I can easily see him involved in community action - and not just for the PR value.
