WR is definatly the biggest battle in camp for individual. The unit competition is the OL. As it stands right now, it seems like it will be from tackle to tackle Jared Veldheer, Stefan Wisniewski, Samson Satelle, Cooper Carlisle, and Stephan Hayer. Then Daniel Loper will be the backup guard and Joe Barksdale will be the backup Tackle. Since Wiz is the backup center, that will leave at least one more OL spot for either Bruce Campbell or Khalif Barnes. Versatility is normally what it takes to win a backup OL job since you can only dress 45 of your 53 on game day and you need your guys in other areas for special teams. Therefore the OL is normally the most out of whack on the depth chart.

that line up looks good. and bruce campbell has to impress, show his talents of athletism, you know, that chizzled frame and crazy hard work that brought him here in the first place, he has to know the position they put him in or he becomes free to the nfl. right now k barnes still holds the position ahead of campbell in my opinion. campbell has not or did not play a down last year or did he?(lol). kid weis needs just a little work. he looked a little confused or nervous out there vs cards but i think they are going to try him out as a starter this saturday? they must have saw something special on him. they continue to say what a good player he is. which reminds me, i got to check and see if they will show the game on t.v. sat. i want to see more of the starters in the offense. i want to see more scorring and more (cb) defending. i want to see if van dyke "dvd" has what it takes. or walter mcfadden, or weez in trouble there!

I haven't heard a lot of good from the secondary. I think Routt and Johnson will be our starters. I have heard some good out of undrafted rookie corner Sterling Moore, so I see him making the team ahead of W McFadden, Jeremy Ware, Chimdi Chekwa, or DVD. I myself think DVD was a wasted pick becasue he was benched as a senior in college, but in his post draft interview, he and Hue Jackson both kept saying that he saw the field just as much as a starter normally does because they played a lot of nickel defense. Granted I had him on my mock board and got him right, but that doesn't really mean that he is who I wanted or that I think he's that great.

I think Routt looks good and he's a headline maker on defense. Try this out:
Raiders secondary gets Routt'd by Cutler for 455 yards in their 10th loss in a row.

what can you expect? van dyke was thrown into the lions! DON'T PANIK LBF, when i say "LIONS" ooooohhh, say it again, LIONS!(lol) but anyways l fitzgerald is a badass dude and to put a rookie guy like van dyke in? was crazy. but he stood along with him. he wasn't scred of ftzgerald. fitz is just that good! but any how, lets see how this giordano does. word from camp is, they are liking him! ROUTT AND JOHNSON will do well as starters.
