The chargers need a DE. Jamal Williams has been one of the best for 13 years, but he won't be there forever. We are currently doing a good job filling in for him with what we have this season, but a fresh young guy is the way to go. Next we need a running back. We need to go with a power back. I really liked Staffon Johnson before he got hurt, but now i like Lagarrette blount. Even though he was out for bad behavior for a while, I still think he could be a good running back for the chargers.

They do need another rb. A workhorse type that can get 100+yds. cause LDT doesn't do that anymore, even against the weak defensive teams. I suggested they get T.O. in 09 even though he's poison. I felt he woulda finally gotten them over the hump. And their main need is to stop talking junk permanently. Let your play do the talking, that's how they beaten the Ingratriots the last 2 times they've played them. Most of the time talking junk gets you beat & embarrassed. See Chad Ochof*cko against the revis island.

no question chargers need a running back but why not wait until the 2nd round? i say draft a DT or a safety in the 1st round then draft Tobey Gearheartin the 2nd he is a beast.

Toby Gerhart should be the one
guy's a monster and runs the 40 just as fast as LT does, LT is quick not fast, i think DT is the biggest issue, draft terrence cody with the first and gerhart with sencond pick

Toby Gerhart = Tommy Vardell
Alot of Mock Drafts have you guys taking Dwyer...whom is useless in the passing game. Look for AJ Smith to make another run at Michael Bush and he will be a star in SD. Personally, I think a RT like Williams will be the round 1 pick or DT Odrick.

I like some of what I read, but I also think some of this is living in a dream world. I think CJ will be off the board when it comes time for the Chargers to pick, but I do think they need a RB. I really doubt AJ will feel the need to trade up in the 1st Round, but maybe in later rounds like what he did with Hester and Weddle; Weddle of which who came from a none BCS school. There is no chance Ricky Sapp is going to fall to the 3rd Round and I cant see the Chargers drafting any WR's this year. Draft History shows AJ like to go outside-the-box in early rounds and get a player who made a splash at the Combine, so look for a DT that he has been head hunting for a while. If the Chargers somehow, someway, got Brandon Spikes, I will have a heart attack from excitement.

Draft History Shows AJ likes to go outside-the-box in the first round, so look for him to shock the world with a RB nobody who did well at the Combine, aka Gerhart, but I would rather see Ingram even if it does mean paying him more. I also think this is another year we see AJ make a move and trade to get a early 2nd rounder and go with a DT. Also, look for him to use another early pick, like a 3rd Rounder on another DT. Forget any reasoning that he will use a draft pick on a WR or OL, its not going to happen. For the love of Pete, dont be the guy who drafted Tebow, why would we need him? I read a account that mentioned Brandon Spikes in a later round...Yes Please!

Package first round pick with LT to Saints for Reggie Bush! Waive Clary! Trade Cromartie! Sign in this order McNeil, Jackson, Floyd, Merriman! Sign ST standout Osgood and get him the ball!

I think San Diego should look at trading for a player like Marion Barber or looking into free agencey at Willie Parker or Chester Taylor if they dont make deals...as for the draft i think we should draft Defensive Tackle First round Linebacker/Running back Second Round than Defensive Back in the later rounds mybe even get rolle if hes avalible in the later rounds
