if, as ESPN reported yesterday, bill belechick--we in ohio always knew he was--has been a cheat and a liar by stealing defensive signals against common sense of lair play, not to mention league rules, that would mean, according to the man who testified against the New England Patriots methods, that his defensive coach, instead of being brilliant, was actually a fraud and a dishonest cheat, also, and that would be why romeo crennel, needs to be fired immediately--and we in ohio know that is a reality and fact, also

romeo crennel is a cheater, a liar and a total fraud

if he isn't, why hasn't he spoken out about what gained him the attention to be hired as a head coach in the first place, and explained how this was accomplshed, and why he ignored his head coach's instruction to cheat and lie in order to win?

lerner has his head in the sand, and a noble line of Brown's coaches has an imposter with latest addition

why has the Beacon refused to investigate and report romeo crennel's involvement in this ugly and childish attempt to gain fame and fortune by CHEATING?

it would be my guess that every team in the NFL cheats.....the NFL knows this and is keeping the heat on NE, in order to not shine light on all the others

One word -- Steroids. I can't think of another reason a professional athlete breaks their hip other than in major, high speed trauma.

This large "sh*t bag" IS a fraud AND was a fraud. Anyone could have ridden Secratariat, that's how good he was. And that's how good the Browns will have to be to overcome this buffoon. Just look at the games he personally blew last year that cost the team a playoff berth: The two-time out fiasco in Phoenix and the inane play calling at the end of the first half in Cincinatti. He's gotten away with scapegoating two assistants thus far which indicates that Randy Lerner is still "learning" or lives on a different planet. The later is probably closer to the truth considering "Cranials" ridiculous contract extension based on a losing record in three years of "buffoonery." The off season signings coupled with the draft had better elevate the Browns to Secretariat status or 8-8 looms large, just a large as the sh*t bag.

True, Romeo benefited handsomely from the video and stealing signals from the opposing teams during his reign as DC of NE...no question...but seriously, that team went undefeated practically without video the entire year save game one of last season...not always a deciding factor in the game and you all are correct in that every team does it - probably the Brownies as well given Crennel's history and what he knows best...that said, he is probably in reality a good defensive coordinator at the pro-level and is in WAY over his head with head coaching...learning on the job and frustrating the fans with his displays of play calling...seriously needs to check himself and work more on what he knows best, A.) Not answering ANY question directly with straight answers (wonder where he learned that - see Belichik's latest press conference...), and B.) Helping the D-Coordinator whip the d-line and linbackers into shape...I never thought he was "the man for the job" but it is what it is...just like D. Anderson being showered with praise when in reality, if anyone was watching Cleveland Brown football in December; D. Anderson was awful!!! Seriously looking like an average quarterback (a good backup), definitely NOT a pro-bowler)- his touchdown to interception ratio was very telling and yet we signed this guy like he was going to be our starter forever?? okay, on one hand it makes sense to give Brady competition (makes people work harder and eventually benefits the team) but are we seriously going to pay 26 million dollars for someone to ride the bench and wait for the other guy to get hurt?? That is a very expensive insurance policy...I guess you could look at it as Lerner/Savage/Crennel's committment to win deep in the playoffs no matter what cause' it doesn't hurt my pocket book to have two overpaid QB's on the roster...just gives the team more security in the long run...you could also look at it as for the next three years we don't and won't have to worry about having a good and an up and coming young and very talented quarterback tandem on the team; now they focus on a great young running back and some shut-down corners and we'll be definitely going deep into the playoffs...one last thing on Romeo...although we all know it is his job not to stir controversy with the media; more often than not with todays organizational structure, he is more like our acting media-coordinator representative; meaning he is doing his job if he answers EVERY question by not anwering the question (see also B. Belichik)...way to go Romeo, we paid you millions of dollars for on-the-job training based on your cheating resume that is now only kind-of being revealed but you do know football, you have it in your blood, I can sense that; however, a lot of us do, but a lot of us aren't tasked with having to be a head coach of the Cleveland Browns...I think with the talent he has on the team now, he should be able to succeeed due to his "deer in the headlights" being a thing of the past...he is actually a veteran head coach in the league now and just as rookies need time for the "game to slow down" and makes it less of thinking then reacting to just acting on instince because he's been there before...he should be fine; he has to be, he just signed up for 3 more years...Go BROWNS!!!! GIVE BRADY Q. A CHANCE!!!! D. Anderson is a good backup; will never take us anywhere but interception and bad decision land...Browns fan in Northern VA!!!!!(formerly of Parma, Youngstown, Austintown, and Hubbard)- When is Sipe going to be nominated to the Hall of Fame??? Peace!!!

So anybody know when Phil gets us a new CB. We are definitely going to need one. Daven Holley just went down for an undetermined amount of time. Our CBs are looking pretty damn thin.

Prodical son. your post is well written but please break it up into three or four paragraphs. It sure would make for easier reading. Just my thoughts.

You certainly have some excellent views especially the mention of Sipe and the Hall of fame.

Some time I think we are snake bitten. We lose so many quality players in these OTA's when the guys are in shorts. Hmm, is the adrenaline too much for these early work outs. Sound as thought OTA's should be just conditioning camps and just walk throughs for teaching purposes.

Let's face it these guys are tryiong to make the team and they certainly don't half step anything. One guy half steps and one doesn't thus injuries.

I always hated it when the coach would say okay guys half speed. There is no half speed when a guy is tying to compete for a position. Someone always gets hurt.
