Redskins also make use of no-huddle offense

Full story: Chicago Tribune

The Bears were not the only ones taking notice of how a no-huddle offense can shake up a game.

If this teamed played as well as they talk, and make excuses they would make the playoffs.

Yes, the Defense is porous and can't stop anyone, but if there is one play the typifies why WE can't score and keep ourselves in the game, it was Turner's bonehead play with first down and goal to go. WHO PULLS THE LEFT GUARD when you only have ONE STINKING YARD TO GO to get a touchdown. I taped the game and watched that play over and over. It was doomed in the design. ONE STINKING YARD and you don't just have a forward push from your Offensive line? Not RON, his brilliantly designed play blew up in his face. What's worse, we saw this same crappy play on fourth and inches not too long ago. Same result, blew up in his face. There is NO NEED to pull a guard when you have such a short distance to go. FIRE RON, NOW!

With the 'Skins in man coverage all night, why did we only throw 2 deep balls in the first half? Berrina caught one, but was out of bounds, and the other was our last play of the half (2nd Griese interception).
Why, in the name of RON TURNER, didn't we try it more than twice given the defense they were playing? RON finally woke up in the second half and through more deep balls. Can you say Touchdown to Berrian? TURNER is absolutely clueless!

Getting beat by someone who hasn't played in 3 years should be the last straw for Smith and the rest of the coaches! Start over and get rid of them all. They are the best excuse makers I have ever seen now they can blame injuries. Good teams don't use injuries as an excuse. They plan for them because they are part of the game. Also, is Vasher really hurt? A groin injury does not last 3 months. If it was that bad then he should have been put on IR so they could use his spot. Don't expect Smith to make any definate decisions on anything. He looked like he was walking in a trance during the game. Please get rid of Smith!!!!!! Help is greatly needed and there is always next year.

Too bad the Bears GM and coaching brain trust did not see what Faulk saw. As well as most Bear fans last year. I had no problem when they drafted the guy, I was worried when he held out, considering how the last two hold out RBs worked out (i.e. Curtis "1.5 yards and a cloud of dust" Enis and Rashann "Weedhead who cannot hold on to the football" Salaam). However, last year I knew T. Jones was the man, Benson is ok as a change of pace guy to soften up a defense for someone like Jones to find running lanes against. I just hope the Bears do not draft another big back with no cutting ability and minimal speed. You can run over linebackers in college, but it is a lot harder to always run over people in the NFL, you have got to bring more to the table than just being big.

My thoughts exactly they, the coaches both offense and defense, with Smith at the head, can not and have not made immediate adjustments when something is readily apparent. What about the defense and a guy who hasn't played in 3 years and they don't do anything to try and rattle him? Just play that vanilla cover 2 that Smith wants and his defense coordinator, is just a desciple of Smith's. People -Smith is the problem here, he can not adjust without having a week to do it and that goes for his coordinators. It took them a whole quarter to realize that Wash.. had a rookie cornerback in there before they tried to take advantage of him. Should have done it within a couple of plays. It really looks like Smith is over matched when it comes to leading a football team. Somebody do something about Smith and the coaches!!!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for March 21

Cancer

The day may start off with a bang as friends and associates continue to call, but by evening you're ready to spend some time alone. The changing Moon enters your twelfth house of secrets and solitude this evening, urging you to spend a quiet night recharging your spiritual batteries. If you must attend a social function, you may find it is easier to listen to others than to say much yourself.
