Harvin's fire fuels his game and his grumbling
On March 12, there was Percy Harvin, for four seasons a Viking, all of a sudden sitting at an introductory news conference in Seattle with a new head coach and a new general manager, flashing an effervescent smile.Full Story

As a native Virginian as Percy is, I am truly saddened to see him leave the Vikings, since I'm a lifelong fan of Minnesota. I can't recall another Virginian who played such a promenent role for my team. I read where there was some friction between Percy and management, that's the nature of professional sports today. Regardless to what went on between Percy and the team I wish him the best for the future, and he will truly be missed by this Virginian Minnesota Viking fan.

While Percy was and is a great individual player, I did not see him as a team player at all. He lacks leadership qualities that you would expect from a guy that has been in the league as long as he has. I think that he learned this type of behavior from guys such as T.O. And Desean Jackson. His whining was counterproductive and really made me dislike him as a person and a Viking so I am glad that he is gone. Mark my words, he will have trouble in Seattle and he will find someone else to blame as usual, in the end he just needs to take a look at himself and mature or he will be going through this again very soon. Bye Percy and good riddance jr. Moss!

First , Jesse has a right to his own opinion, I truly respect ones right to express ones self.Jesse nor I were in this Viking locker room, so neither of us can accurately say whether Percy was a true team leader to not, I feel this is just a random assumptiom by someone who has no insider knowledge to what's going to in the Viking locker room, unless Jesse is a team reporter, and neglected to mention this minor fact. Second in my first posting. I said that Percy was the only Virginian that I could recall that contributed greatly to past Viking teams, I retract that statement, for how could I forget that the great Fran Tarkenton was born in my own hometown of Richmond without question one of the five greatest Vikings of alltime. Sorry Fran I don't. know how I could overlook your stellar career.

NFL is a business. Business wise Harvin along with Darrelle Revis are the smart guys of the NFL. Teams will tell players to take a paycut so in my opinion when a player is at the top of their game get all the money you can.
