This player may not be brought to Miami to play Defensive Tackle. He may take Holiday's spot at DE. As confirmed by sources linked to the Jags, McDaniel stuggled with leverage and playing too tall at times. This leads me to believe MIa may be looking at yet another Defensive End.

In conclution this may shut the door on Georgia Tech's DE Johnson. As Johnson's stock began to drop, I was confident he would never make it past the Dolphins at 25. However the impossible may have happoned... I hardly see Johnson in the first round in most NFL Mock drafts. Still I find it really hard for our coaches to pass up a kid with the potencial of Julious Peppers, only faster, so late in the first round.

Glad this helps allow us to take best player available regardless of position in draft. Just wish CB position was deep in this draft and from what I was hearing on Sirius NFL radio the CB position this year is really weak in the draft after CB/S Jenkins. There might only be two cornerbacks taken in first round, that is weak. Well, here is to hoping Fins pick at #25 either OLB Larry English, WR Hakeem Nicks/WR Kenny Britt, or NT Brace. Preferably #25 is WR so by the time Chad Henne is starting he will have a weapon besides our big O-line and running game. I know Parcells is friends with Ron Wolf who was a great GM and Wolf once said his biggest regret was not giving his quarterback a great wide receiver. Hopefully Parcells takes this to heart and picks WR at #25 despite his reluctance to draft receivers in first round and his affinity for linebackers. Henne is the future and the future is bright for Dolphans!

Actually this is a busy day. Anytime a player is signed over the two months between the start of FA and the draft gives us something to discuss for the next week or so while nothing at all happens...GO PHINS!!!

6'7" for a 7th round how could you possibly pass that up... Even if he isnt an every down player, we can put him in on passing situations. Think of all the balls batted down or tipped for the possible INTs this dude might bring, on top of that he can play special teams, FGs & XPs would have are hard time getting over him. This could work and was definitely worth it...GO PHINS!!!

He'll probably see playing time at both end and nose. And hopefully the addition of another young defensive tackle will cause soliai to realize his spot on the team is not a sure thing. This probably means Miami will not draft a defensive tackle until late in the draft, maybe sign a free agent or two.

Another garbage player picked out of the dumpster by parcells.

I heard there's a toothless quarterback that can throw like a bitch down at wallmart. I'm sure they went to the pancake house looking for offensive lineman. The found Kurt warner in a grocery store so anything's possible, but halfway house or goodwill industries is where they find some studs.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
