He was going to threaten a holdout if he wasn't traded to a contender. We all know that isn't the case down here.

I will miss him. His precense in the locker room was key. His laughter warmed up the room and was a true leader out on the field. Corky Robertson will be missed. Fire turkey breast Parcell Now!!!!!

How can you "retire" from something you never participated in? Isn't it called "quitting"? What's his 401K worth?

I hope he comes from a rich family. Otherwise when he's older he's going to be kicking himself he didn't give it a shot.

I don't know why his choice has rubbed people the wrong way. The last thing the Dolphins need is someone on the field who doesn't want to be there. Its HIS life...let him do what he wants to. I'm sure he'll regret it, but that's for HIM to figure out. I'm just glad he got his degree unlike alot of these 4-year scholarshipped jocks who don't even bother to open a book.

He's retiring so that he can someday resign with a contender.

Wouldn't you?

Lastly, it Parcells fault.
