Lots of questions seem to be floating around the team with the draft picks and other players brought in about what to do with all of the TE's,WRs, OLBs, CBs, and DEs. Isn't competition a good thing? That's what we have to for!

I just love Pat White. He will be the NFL rookie of the Year. I will be buying season tickets instead of my usual 2 tickets to see my STEELERS. He is the man to put more behinds in the seats. That is what you all want. Go Dolphins.

8 Well, they signed the rookie. And Haynos has improved.
9 For all the knocks on Soliai, and he's still here???? He does or has something that the tuna and his helpers likes. You hide and watch!

Better team means better results, the schedule is tough but so is this team, Home super bowl or bust. Jets and bills are going to be the easest games we got this yr and we will be 4-0 against them. The pats are a problem but we have the answer for Brady (JT and Porter). We have the answer for RMoss (SSmith) no more throwing the ball up for grabs and RMoss coming down with it. We have the answer for Belacheat (Bill and Co). We will out coach, out motivate and out work the Pats for at least a split this yr. JT is a Pat killer (he owns Light) and will be again this yr.

They will be at the bottom of the Hudson river by the end of the season. Mark (Back up to JD Booty) Sanchez is going to be thrown to the wolves (JT and Porter) and will not be around by the end of the season.

we have the hardest sch in the nfl, however ne is #3 buffalo #6 and ny #7
it doesn't look easy for the whole afc east! we should fare well against our division, to win the east with the level of talent we had last year! we certainly out coached the division! and i dont think that will change!

I think this is going to be very telling of Murphy. Thomas's injury gives him a chance to show why he was so highly regarded coming out of last years draft. Another player who has to prove something is Berger. Parcells brought Berger to Dallas for a reason and he brought him back to Miami for the same reason. These two players need to play to their potential . In the end the way I see it the RG spot at worst will be manned by Ndukwe. Last year he was not great but he was not horrible ether.

Murphy is a waste. Parcells always goes after players he formally coached (Bumberger). Maybe thats why he has not won a Super Bowl since 1990.

Remember when Johnson was coach and the "D" almost became elite overnight with the acquisition of Thomas, Taylor, Madison and Surtain?

Well, I am predicting that coupled with Allen, Porter, Langford and Merling from last year, the addition of Davis, Smith, Wake, Taylor, and Wilson as well as Clemons, is going to put our defence in the top 3 or 4 in the league.

I think these pick-ups will be that good. But, only time will tell...just a prediction.

That means we can expect to be contenders for years to come, and if our offense continues to improve, we can have a legitimate shot.

And how many Super Bowls did Johnson win with the Dolphins? ZERO

You would be better off predicting we will continue the already established 35 year Championship drought

Why do I doubt you are really a FinFan?

The point wasn't whether or not some one actually wins, or even makes it to the Super Bowl, but what was potentially accomplished during this off-season which is reminiscent defensively of what was accomplished during the Johnson, Madison, Surtain, Taylor, Thomas era, which made that team a consistent playoff contender based on defensive play alone. As well as what would have been accomplished if that team also managed to put together a decent offense.

Implying blanket statement ideas which seem to indicate that it is impossible to have a good team without making it to the Super Bowl or being able to dialogue on positive trends which have taken place during an off season without undermining such observations for the same reason causes me to believe that it might be worth doubting your intelligence or your sincerity, one or the other...maybe both.

I don't see the Dancing Queen making that much of an impact as you do. We have to keep in mind the year he had last year. He was nearly useless for the Skins, and no longer will get the freedom of going hell bent for the QB. My hope is he only gets in on passing plays only. That's what he does best, there is no use in having him in the game on running plays. He simply gets pushed around to easy to stop anything coming his way.

"Which player viewed as little more than roster-filler will pull off what Greg Camarillo and Patrick Cobbs accomplished last season, transforming themselves from nobodies to key contributors on the active roster?"

Omar,
Camarillo was NOT a nobody at the beginning of last season. He was the guy who has just saved the Dolphins from 0-16 in 2007-- you still remember that, right?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
