What you dont seem to understand is college performance rarely translates to NFL performance. Comparing Beck to Farve or Steve Young is laughable. Clearly, he's more the Ryan Leaf type...except not nearly as good as Leaf was able to put SOME points on the board.

Beck may be good one day, but not in the NFL. My guess he'll be out of the NFL in 1 or 2 years and maybe he'll catch on with some team in the arena league. He'll be 3rd string this year and running the scout team again.

Again, what you seem to be doing, is missing the point. Brett Farve DID look worse than Beck in his 1st when he got his 1st chance in the NFL. We all know that College stats dont always translate in the NFL. But all experts say that it takes 3 years to judge a draft, QB included. I gave all those excamples to say noone can really say for sure BECK is a bust after just 4 games in the nfl. Those I think who only say all the negative plays are those who got thier info straight fro ESPN highlights, and never watched a whole game, especially the last game of the season, against Cincy. So again, Are you and al those other Beck Bashers more of expert on drafts than just about every ex GM we see on NFL NETWORK, and ESPN? Being those are the ones that says it takes 3 years to judge a draft.
The college game, even at MICHIGAN, is slower than the NFL. It takes time for any qb to get used to the speed of the game. Thats why Peyton Manning threw a ton of interceptions his 1st year. Eli too. Steve Young as well. Even John Elway struggled his 1st year. So if you are expecting every rookie QB to come into thwe Dolphins organization, and look like Dan Marinos 1st year , you will be dissapointed by ANYONE theyget, including HENNE. Because DAN was 1 of a kind. Sorry to inform you of that.
Beck has the arm, and the work ethic to improve upon his performance. HE may not get to sow it here in Miami, because media and fans alike still havent let go of MARINO, and still think QB's are supposed to be the next MARINO. Guess what! NOONE EVER WILL BE, and as long as that is the goal, the Dolphins organizaton will continue to FAIL in the search for a GOOD QB! BEcause 99.9% of them are gonna make some bad plays, bonehead moves, and not be used to the speed of the NFL. The other .1 % is already retired, and in the hall of fame.

all you idiots who say last years draft for the fins was good are smoking crack! What was so good about it? A starting center would be a back up on most teams is all he has to show for it. The rest are average players at best who all will be lucky to be in the NFL in three years. Also, look at Mueller's draft record and who he passed on and even traded away.. see for yourself and the tell me he is a good NFL man..

Most experts I've seen have graded the Fins draft a "C". Not very good considering they had the first choice. I guess how Henne turns out will be the key.
