3 of 5 of our best defenders sit, no production from Green, Brown or Ginn and we win?

O.K. it is only preseason, but this is better than Saban/Satan

Ronnie Brown had 8 carries for 8 yards. Trent Green was 6-15 with an INT.

There's still some work to be done. The plusses are a lot of young players got some valuable reps against Jags starters in the first half. Looks like Chatman and Hagan had a pretty good night. After subtracting that 74-yard run, he averaged about 3 yards per carry. I think Cameron said they've only installed about 40% of the offense thus far, so it's definitely still a "work in progress."

Ginn averaged a respectable 18.7 yards per kickoff return.

Best play of the game: 2 point conversion. Great call, excellent execution.

Don't take the problems of the first half too seriously. They wanted to see who needed what in terms of improvement and/or replacement.

The OL made the entire offense look bad, in particular Green. Let's see how they improve, which I am sure they will.

Everything went well. Hell, when you win, it is easier to believe that, as well as it is easier to say that.

Thursday should be good. Grudge game? You bet. Remember Harrington's debut in Detroit last year? This ought to be good.

Finally some sensible 'posters.'

The previous comment sections had all 'doom & gloomers.'

'Hutch,''Caddy,''Einstein'.... you guys all 'get it.'

This is an "EXHIBITION GAME," it's purpose was to see what you have, work out the kinks, get some valuable playing time for the rookies & FAs. It wsn't a masterpiece by any imagination but it was progress. I believe they'll look a bit better this week against KC.

The goal is to figure out who your likely 53 men you plan to go to war with. This was the first step toward that goal. There'll be a lot of 'new' faces when they take the field on Sept. 9th, that much you can be sure of.

How could you fail to mention 3 time Pro Bowl LB Joey Porter not playing as well?

Dont put too much into this as it was a try out for most to see who makes the roster.I like the fact that we went for the win and not the tie! This is a vote of confidence from the coach to the players.Nice for a change.HELL YEAH GO FINS!!!

Well, now we're about a week and a half out. I actually enjoyed watching the "offensive fireworks" against Tampa Bay. Beck showed some nice touch on some long passes.
