Ferguson's absence glaring vs. Ravens

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Jason Ferguson and Randy Starks are both listed at 6 feet, 3 inches and 305 pounds, but there is no comparing their contributions to a defense.

All is not lost, I'll still be there even if half our starting lineup was out. Remember the Patsies* & Chargers games, seems we are having more trouble against the mediocre teams than the teams we are supposed to get killed by. any given Sunday...GO PHINS!!!

Oh go away... Sporano doesnt know how to use Ricky effectively, and with Ronnie brown back there, who is much younger by the way, I dont think we will see that anymore. If Ronnie was to go down again, then we would see a difference. Ricky would be getting the ball 20-25 times a game and come the 4th qtr. thats when he starts to break the really long ones... Has Ricky even had more than 10 touches in a game so far? I havnt been keeping count, but maybe a game or two that hes had a few more than that, maybe 13 or 14...GO PHINS!!!

If Sparano had the injuries like last year, the fins would go 0-16. Cam still sucked, but Sparano has no clue how to utilize the best players. You have Long and Smiley on the left side, so just pound the ball with Ronnie and Ricky, then throw the ball off play action. Simple as that.

New England is 4-2 w/out Brady and Asante Samuel. Good teams find ways to win games.

F the Patsies, F Raiderette. Its ridiculous how people that know nothing about football think they know more than the coaches.

This game looked like last years on defense 'cause we lost the NT early and they ran it down our throats. We can't fix the entire team in one off-season. Half of last years team is gone and we have already won twice as many games. We are on track for 6-10 or 7-9 season. Isn't that what you thought? Doesn't it seem like we are moving in the right direction?

Oh yeah...Ricky still got it and he only has to use it part time.

Good post Ram; I was checking out the teams stats a little while ago, and did you know that we are leading our opponents in almost every category... Without that return for a TD a couple weeks ago, or the pick 6 last week who knows where we would be. Im with you, we are moving in the right direction, but there is a few things this staff is missing, like only running Ricky 4 times last Sunday, and continuing to go with the same DBs who keep getting burned or dropping easy picks. I say run Ricky more, and start J.Allen this weekend, and we will see big plays on both sides of the ball. That is the reason why these close games appear to be more lopsided than they really are...GO PHINS!!!

Did Sparano have a clue against NE & SD? Or are you jumping off the bandwagon? That's a pretty novel solution...we need three plays. Ricky left, Ronnie left, play action for a TD. Wow, I bet nobody ever thought of that. Why don't you call (9 5 4)4 5 2-7 0 0 0 and ask the secretary, NO, don't ask, tell her you need to speak to Tony Sparano so you can relay the strategy required to win the rest of the games this year...better yet just tell them to put Bill on the phone. I'll let them know you'll be calling.

hahaha. All you trolls just kill me. Even after your teams get occasionally beaten up by other teams, fins or otherwise, you still find the time to go to the oppositions newspapers and find some trivial mundane comment to express. I have better things to do with my life than to take the time and troll the other team's fan's boards and try to throw anonymous jabs and barbs at them, because I have a life. You are the very epitome (yeah, raider fan, it's a college word, look it up) of the word LOSER. You're the type that if you somehow, by some miracle, actually have a woman in your life, you either verbally, emotionally, or physically abuse them to make yourself feel superior to them.

For the first time in several years I can actually SEE the difference in the Fins! Yes, they are not all of a sudden the Patriots, but, they are IMPROVED and I feel like they have a CHANCE on Sunday! It feels great! Can I fault WH for not knowing anything about football operations because he has tons of money? In my mind I can, but, in reality I can't. He has tried in his way. He got the hottest potential coach in Satan, and the "up and comer" in Cam-moron, but, they didn't work out. Finally, he got Tuna and crew. I think Tony knows football and will, within the next few years, turn it around. But, in the meantime, you guys just keep on "trolling the boards" to try to find some minor feeling of 'superiority' over others, instead of mustering up some real balls and making something of your own lives. We're still here. We're still living the only 'perfect season' and we're still keeping the faith. In the end, none of us will really have any of these player's athleticism or paychecks, coach's knowledge, or owner's money. So, what does it matter in the grand scheme life anyway?
Go find a Girl Scout to mug.

GO FINS.
