"a lot of young guys back there,'' Cameron said.``Plus, that's a nice corps of receivers [on the Jacksonville side].''
with a comment like that i have no confisence in the secondary!!!!!! nice corps of recievers??? whats moss going to do then. not that ricky makes this team a 10 win team but ronnie brown unfortunately is not going to be the answer , still early though but if fins can get ricky back they shouldnt be foolish about it.

Cam needs to have a seriopus talk with Don Shula about making the most of what is available & winning, ugliest game I've seen in a pre-season. better hope RW returns in September. we did not win the game the Jaguars lost it. Bench Green, start lemon , bring along Beck very quickly.
where was Ginn? Lorenzo Booker will dazzle them? we have one running back in camp Jesse Chapman, better go after ricky williams. horrible outing!

I haven't spent my life watching pre-season games, but from what I saw, it certainly wasn't the sloppiest.

I saw very few penalties, and I am not counting Vonnie Holiday's QB bust as one, it wasn't.

The O-line performed as expected: new personnel (especially with the early injury), new system, rookies ... take your pick, any two would have been reason for the performance.

The rest of the O-game followed suit. Jax didn't pull its D, like the phins did. All things considered, it was an excellent learning experience for the A-team O.

I am missing the good words for the 2nd half. Lemon did well - Chatman shined - and Beck, well, you can what you can say, but he looked pretty good.

Nobody seems to give Cam credit for making the call for the best play of the game, the 2 pt. conversion that won it.

Let's face it, the only bad thing about this game is that it might cause some people to have expectations that are beyond the reach of the team at this time.

I would say we have the makings of a good team. All they have to do is work at it and have some luck with injuries. This is not a team that will be saved by a Ricky Williams.

Who knows, however, Ricky might play, just to get some value out of a trade.

Hey 'Simon' & 'Rio' sorry to break this news to you 2 ..... evidently neither of you have been paying any attention the last 5 months ..... Ricky Williams is not a part of the Miami Dolphins Football team anymore. He's gone ..... history. Get it through you thick skulls.'If', and it's a very big 'if,' the NFL should reinstate him this year (personally, I'd be shocked if he gets re-instated before late Oct. or Nov.). He will never again be a part of the Dolphins team. If they can get a draft pick for him they will, but if not he'll be released like Culpepper was.

Jeez, you guys are like an old 'hippie' that can't believe Morrison or Joplin's dead !!

Williams is done as a Miami Dolphin !!!!!

When the Dolphins play Zack, JT, Traylor, and Porter they'll be a defensive force. They een looked ok with al the young backups against JaX's starters.

So Cam will throw a rookie left tackle on the first team, but when Green is stinking it up, our best rookie doesn't get a look. Great plan Cam.

Damn, dude. Everytime you post something, it's always: "Trent sucks", "I want DC", "Trent is washed up", etc. Man, you're always so critical of Green. Well, it seems that Culpepper didn't do so hot in his first preseason game. He got sacked, had two fumbles, and one of which resulted in an Arizona scoring drive. It seems that you bash Green every chance you get, but when Culpepper srews up, you seem to make every excuse in the world. Keep in mind, that Trent was working behind a "work in progress O-Line" while going against one of the toughest first team defenses in the NFL. Whereas Culpepper was going against third and fourth string guys.

Stop being so damn critical and give this thing a chance to play out. Being negative, doesn't do a damn bit of good.

yadda yadda yadda...

Was it just me, or did the announcers really suck? All the meaningless interviews? Not calling the plays? Talking over the plays? I muted the tv at one point. I couldnt take it. Im going to start muting it and putting the radio if it keeps up like that.

Well Ted/jahndoh/Frank//////if you had any reading comprehension you'd know that I never said I wanted DC, I only think that not giving him a chance to compete was unfair. TrINT's lack of showing ANYTHING , ALL CAMP AND ALL GAME is why I rag on him. When he steps up, I'll back off. Till then.....deal with it.

If you read the live blog from last night you'll see I not only held off from bashing him, but even gave him some props for seemingly pulling it together for the lone scoring drive he led.

People only read the parts they want to read.

Yeah Andrew the announcers were unbearable. Just like these negative Dolphin fans that are anti Cam Cameron, and rail against every player he has brought in or drafted.

I think we will be all right. I think Cameron is going to end up being a real fine HC in the NFL. He's going to make some mistakes. There is a shortage of great coaches in the NFL but I like this guy.

Fact is you can not please fans, they (we) are clueless. Dolphins pass on Quinn everyone goes nuts...remember that! Quinn holds out all of training camp while Ginn and beck shine, everyone is realizes that Cam made the right choices on draft day. I am not a big Trent Green fan but I realize that his greatest value has been and wll be mentoring Beck who I strongly believe is going to be very special one day. So lighten up guys, we have had some really bad coaches but this time I stronly believe we have the right man for the job.

I don't know where some of you get your sense of where the team is in relation to the rest of the NFL. I love the Dolphins, I root for them regardless of whether or not they win or lose. But for some of you to sit on the internet and bash a team that cleary said leading up to the game...1. there wasn't going to be a game plan. 2. they are going to treat the game like a dress practice. Now i'm not football expert or anything, but winning a game you didn't plan for...didn't script for...and basically treated it like it is...a glorified practice. Some numbers for you to chew on...Oakland finished the pre-season last year 4-1. They finished the season 2-14. There was a year, maybe Herm Edwards first or second w/ the JETS, they didn't lose a game in the preseason, but finished 3-13. You never know in the NFL. I'm not saying drink the Kool-Aid and be a complete HOMER, but root fot your team until they completely let you down. And not performing well in the first pre-season game shouldn't have you feeling let down. Of it does...I got news for you...You ain't a DOLFAN, Baby!
