Tim Kawakami: Many questions await answers for 49ers

There are 2 comments on the Marin Independent Journal story from Aug 15, 2010, titled Tim Kawakami: Many questions await answers for 49ers. In it, Marin Independent Journal reports that:

Anthony Dixon was everywhere, but Alex Smith was barely there. David Baas and Ricky Jean Francois looked like naturals at need positions, but overall, the 49ers' first-teamers looked a little sludgy.

As usual Kawakami seems to be pretty much dead on with his analysis of the game. The 1st team didn't look as good as I expected. That being said I think the 49ers still have a major problem at quarter back. Those two rookie lineman better get it figured out quick because Smith & Carr both have alot of trouble with hearing foot steps. Anthony Dixon sure looks like the heir apparent for Frank Gore's position should Gore get injured. The defense looked pretty good after Manning was out of the game. The season is young go niners.

The bay area media really sucks, all you do is talk b.s. Alex played against the first string colts, he played o.k. and missed one throw, and the other two should have been caught but they were tipped and intercepted. he did not have anthony dixon in there with him. the second and third string niners quarter backs, got to play against the colts 2nd and third string players, so of course they looked like they were moving the niners up and down the field. Alex Smith and the niners will take us to the play offs and you and the media will still talk all kind of B.S. GO ALEX SMITH AND THE 49ERS! COUCH SING IS AWESOME!
