So not only do you think the Lard Butt Twins should get away with use of a banned substance, but you also want to dictate WHEN they should serve their suspensions? How about we just tell their opponents they have to forfeit all their games? Who the h--- do you think you are?

I just mean I think (along with alot of other people, otherwise it would have been upheld along time ago) that the banned substance was it such small amounts and buried so deep in the Starcaps they were taking, that it wasn't even listed in the ingredients on the label. The only people who seemed to know it was there was Starcaps and the NFL, who wanted to keep it a secret for what ever reason. That makes it borderline entrapment in my opinion. This shouln't be treated the same as taking real steroids. As far as dictating the time of the suspension, I mean they should resolve everything before the start of the season so it is enforced on the 1st 4 games. The weakest part of their schedule. Even though it includes the packers.

Plus, the appeals are the reason the suspensions haven't gone into effect yet. Can you point to one member of the Commissioner's office or judge that has agreed with any of the claims or arguements that you have put forward? I admire your enthusiasm. I even sympathize with the players, believe it or not. But it appears, right now, that the appeals are merely acting to delay the suspensions.

Cities have laws too moron -- including laws against speeding! Which are contestable, you stupid idget. I'm happy to know that you at least realize everybody thinks you're a dumbas-s.

You totally missed the dude's point.(as usual) Yesterday, you missed my point entirely too. When I posted that technically they ARE guilty, it went over your head. PS: "Entrapment" is a crime too, Density, Or didn't they tell you that in "Law School"? You really need to can the feeble attempts at trying to sound "intellectual", or like your personal feces isn't odorific. You're really not very "with it" in that department.

The "entrapment" part is the NFL. That's what people have been trying to tell you. Why is one offense excusable, and one isn't? You can't have the law only work "one way" because you're the idiot among GB fans that can only SEE IT one way. There's guilt to be shared in this among ALL PARTIES CONCERNED....NOW do you get it?

So the point comes down to this GBPfan: Whereas a portion of your post #67 can be appreciated, the summary, for most of us, remains the same: 1) Behind "closed doors", both legal teams ought to meet, and come to an agreement to drop the whole thing. On BOTH sides. The Vikings & New Orleans players because they UNKNOWINGLY violated a "not-very-well-defined " stipulation within NFL rules. The NFL because they had crucial information about a product and didn't report their findings, totally, to FAA, NFLPA, and individual teams. A drug with unmarked ingredients is a danger to EVERYBODY. Doesn't matter if you're "WI Bear" or whoever. If you have children, and one was busted for a diet drug that had an illegal substance in it NOT marked on the label, you'd be p!$$ed. I know it. YOU know it. Everybody knows it. What if it was your spouse? 2) Reduced fine for ALL involved players, and reduced suspensions. NFL apologizes for knowingly having a written trap, in which they can both fine & suspend whoever they want, WHENever they want. And for not doing much to share this Starcaps info. with more than a few concerned parties & State & Federal Agencies. 3) Let this drag on as it is. I go for #1. It just makes more sense. This SHOULD go beyond "GB fans,Bears fans, MN fans, etc". This concerns FOOTBALL. The game most of us love. The NFL

And what are they supposed to do, drop their case just so your favorite team might possibly have a chance at beating THEIR team? Just because YOU want them to? Who the h--- do you think YOU are? If this would have happened to Urlacher and Cutler you'd be wailing about how unfair it was. AND YOU KNOW IT! You're just talking like a "team" fan. NOT a "Football" fan. This happened to some New Orleans players too. Why aren't you and other Bear & GB fans hollering about THAT? Why haven't any of you ever hollered about that? Gee, could it possibly just be a "Division thing"? That's why most Viking fans aren't taking you and a couple others seriously. Because it's bull$h!t. What is MN supposed to do? Give your teams a couple freebie games to help them along? What kind of satisfaction in winning is THAT supposed to give anyone?

Arch went through and explained everything so even a 2 year old could comprehend, which still obviously left you out. Why don't you try the Lions topix site, even though they too would label you a cynic. Can your Mother even stand the sight of you?

These players get what they get now because they basically had come to an agreement with the league where all five players would have their suspensions canceled and would pay a large fine but the players union wanted to keep pushing the issue about who would oversee future suspensions so their was no agreement. If you'd like to read about it it was on yahoo sports May 24 and written by Jason Cole.
