Fun read, but far fetched on both accounts. What I expect from the team this season? A 5 to 6 win season. Mainly due to all the change in staff, scheme and players. A lot of our FA pick ups are coming off injury and some didn't play last season. There will be growing pains. But I do think this season will identify a few new starters and a more than a few that need replacing. But really that has to be expected. If we get woods on, that would be a great learning experience for our young db's. But still one maybe two seasons? That's a bandaid being put on a foot long gash. I am not saying don't sign him. But I am saying we need a lot more than that and need to find his replacement if we sign him.

Why would anyone honestly think Tyler freaking Wilson will play this year. Why?

Don't underestimate the value of throwing a pass against no defense to a jogging wide receiver

True test will be in July, when he has plagued some with the team. Coach Allen saying he is impressed with his control of the huddle and on the field. Is great, but doesn't mean much yet. However, it would suck for Flynn if he lost the starting job to another rookie named Wilson.

i agree with the 5-6 outlook. i think if we walk away from this season with 4 or 5 guys that step up and we can sign to long term contracts in 2014, that would be awesome.

Played a lot of baseball and football growing up. Pitched and played guard. The closest thing I could throw to a spiral looked like a wounded duck. I could get it there but it would be butt ugly

I'm trying to regain confidence in the new regime. I've heard good things about the players drafted, but it's still disturbing that they drafted DJ Hayden despite the heart problem. I just keep hoping and praying that he is fully recovered and will be an asset to us for years to come.

i agree with RF, on his statements here. i also agree with you as far as trying to regain confidence, but? in the new regime of the oakland RAIDERS. and to me they have shown signs of improvement on how they run things around here. specially in trying to re-sign woodson AND adding veterans to the team. the drafted players are fine. they will learn as they go. but just as an example, players are talking about learning from dmac and possibly learning from woodson. so veteran leadership is the most importance to a rookie team player. that's why they probably named flynn as a starter even though the player experience is low compared. firing all veterans is is why i was upset of the way mckenzie did things around here. but for some reason, he may have figured it out and is "starting" to realize that he needed veteran leadership. we should be up two games from this season next season. depending on how fast the rookies adapt. i still put my trust on the oc/dc coaches.

RM knew he needed veterans on the team,JUST NOT VETERANS who were not going to lead by example. He's a very smart football man,and I trust his eye for talent, both on and off the field.#OneNation

veterans to VETERANS or visa versa works for me! A VETERAN that leads by example is the better veteran.
