Shaw will have UH O-line ready for Badgers - Sports News

Full story: Honolulu Star-Bulletin

Gordy Shaw tends to see red when Wisconsin comes to town. Coaching at neighboring Minnesota for 14 years, Shaw developed frosty feelings for the Badgers in their annual battles for Paul Bunyan's Axe.

Prior to Navy coming to Aloha Stadium, I had my doubts the Warriors were ready for the task. In fact, I envisioned a blow out in favor of the midshipmen. How wrong I was, but entering this game with the Badgers presents a similar feeling...Navy is not Wisconsin. Navy football athletes lack depth and size due to physical entry requirements prescribed by the respective military academy. You won't find a 6'8" defensive end or a 300 lb offensive line on a military academy team. I'm putting things in perspective for the benefit of Hawaii supporters that in view of how desperate we are to get a win over Wisconsin and get our seniors into the Hawaii Bowl, a miracle is possible for the men of Manoa. I quote "Miracle".
That's what I'm hoping for. Imua Warriors!

My perspective right on brah! You mention ND, anybody can beat ND, even Navy. How about matching another team per Badgers category! Pad level, leverage, etc., did not work against unlv, latech, Boise, etc. etc.

Seems like the warriors are getting pushed over the cliff with Wisconsin leading 27 to UH 3 at the 3rd quarter! Throw in the towel Mack and save us the embarrassment of getting trashed on TV.

See what happens when the incompetent useless UH administration let June Jones go and hire some bottom-of-the-barrel Mack to drive the football program down the road to ruins! The released June Jones at SMU will play in the Aloha Bowl in only two seasons...what has Mack go to show....nothing!

Same goes for that overweight, obese, sexuality deviant UH president, Greenwood...all losers!

I just watched the Wisconsin players manhandle the Warriors all night long with superior strength and size. I think your makapeapea went fall on your lip and your nose stay leaking hanabada.LOL

Thank gawd KIA is a senior, He must have been the WORST LT in UH history. He would have made a good cheerleader for UH...He put UH in bad kicking position on the last kickoff, by being a dummy on the extra point ( a unsportsman like penalty ) A gone KIA , is a good KIA....NFL tryout? no way in hell

Yeah, why are those you've just received an unsportsmanlike penalty even allowed in the next play. If there will never be a rule about it, a good coach would remove him.

And can you believe this idiot made 2nd team All WAC. That goes to show you that beside Boise, there isn't much left in the WAC.
I always wondered if his slow reaction play after play was because he's not too smart and his brain is in sleep mode..So when the opponent calls him retarded he reacts and commits a penalty.
Probably both, retarded and slow.
