Full story: Chicago Tribune

Coach Lovie Smith is fond of dividing the season into quarters, and the Bears have now entered the fourth quarter of 2008.

Well it is over now...and i don't want to hear any bull about me not being a true bear fan or that im giving up. Did anyone see anything from the bears last night that they were impressed with? We have a running back, that is it. We have no recievers, not one, and would we really know anyways, we don't even use them..at least not enough to know much. The bears coaches are unreal, how are they still working, honestly, they are pitiful. The bears played with absolutely no passion, and looked like a beaten dog after the the first half. The four attempts from the o-line at the one yard line destroyed their swagger....and the 99 yarder immediately after destroyed the defense. I saw no player trying to be a leader, no one chatting on the sidelines, no one calling out his team...pitiful. This team is done until the coaches leave...and lets throw Angelo in there as well. If these guys are back next year to coach i suggest the fans stay at home. Did anyone see Lovie on the side lines during the game, his expressions after not getting the touchdown at the one yard line, and then giving up the big pass to Berrian were priceless. yes, i said it, he had expressions on his face, like a little kid who just saw his daddy get whupped. i had planned a trip with my son to chicago next year to catch a game, i live far away and this would be at a considerable price, as long as Lovie is in Chicago i will hold off on that. Now, just bring in the young qb, put bennett, hass, and rideau on the field and lets see what we got for next year.

I sure can't wait for the day Lovie leaves Chicago. He's a horrible coach and has even a more horrible set of coordinators to help him. Babich is a bum, Turner is a bum and Lovie is the biggest bum of them all. All 3 are pathetic at the their jobs and all you have to do is watch the Bears play to have my point proven. Just an absolutely horrible coaching staff.

If i hear Lovie put a positive spin on this game i will freak out. Enough of the glass half full, the bears glass is for sure half empty...This team is getting steadily worse, a true sign that the players no longer respect the coaches.

.

Oh ..... You KNOW that he will !!

After all, he remarked at half-time, that the Bears, WHO WERE LOSING, had "dominated" the first half !!

So ..... Get out your Barf Bag !

Question: If every team had the exact same players and the ONLY difference per team was the coaching, where would the Bears rank? I'd say DEAD last.

how many excuses can lovie use to avoid stating....we are not a playoff team...?

four 4 game seasons or one 6 game season or another 4 game season or is it 4, 1 game seasons?

this whaaaaanstedt era coaching staff have to go. when will the bears hire someone with nfl head coaching experience?

did minnesota prove that two large big men are very effective at stuffing the run? how is that speedy line working for you lovie?

it was nice to see alex brown in the backfield sacking the qb while adrian peterson is running thru his open position.

is the d line practicing pilates while they pass rush? sure looked like it as they stood around with their arms raised.

is this team more disappointing than the '69 bears?

Before going into the locker room at halftime, Lovester told the WBBM sideline announcer that they were not planning on making any adjustments ---'nuff said!
