A handful of folks are ready to put the old man in a rocking chair. The carefree Marty Booker probably would prefer a plush recliner when the proper time comes.

Brandon Lloyd and Booker have been good starters in the past.
Why they have not played more was partly due to injuries and partly due to the inept leadership of the trainee Lovie the Mope.
The Mope can't evaluate talent.

Football starts at the line of scrimmage! Three players are above average Tait & Kreutz and Alex Brown....... where are the rest of these linemen? MIA?

Roach is nothing special and Steltz and Anderson can't handle the run.

Angleo the Dope is rapidly letting the Bears fall apart with his lame drafting.........he is clueless the O & lines need more talent......

Id have to agree with that TV analyst. About the only dependable Bears receiver is maybe Olson & at times Hester. Davis drops too many while Booker & Lloyd hardly have been a impact with 08 Bears. Bears will need other improvements besides receivers after season ends which may be today .08 Bears sort of skated by in 08 & lucky to be still in playoff hunt. With a less than consistent QB core & a defensive line that gets worn out easily DA bears will be eliminated quickly even if they get a playoff berth.

Not only do we not have very good receivers but they are also short.

Face facts Olsen is not a tight end, he's basically a receiver. His blocking as a tight-end is well below NFL tight-end standards.

I would have loved to have seen a lot less Rashied Davis this year and a lot more Kellen Davis at tight end with Olsen split out wide or in the slot.

Kyle Orton is the one who could benefit most from a big game on Sunday. He needs to prove he's worth the long term investment by stopping his 2nd half slide.
How does a writer covering the Bears miss that?

I sure hope Williams is NOT a bust but it has all the earmarks of being one. Let's face it, Angelo is HORRIBLE AND CLUELESS when it comes to drafting in the first round. Booker and Rash Davies, HE GONE!!!!

Booker says " I have a two-year deal, so I am safe" that tells me he has no pride since I take it as I will get paid no matter what.
I agree he should be dumped.

Let's add Ron Turner and Babbich to the list of Bears that need good games. Turners horrible play calling has been well documented and Babbich has shown nothing as well. Let's see an imaginative, dynamic offense and a defense that can make adjustments and play at the right depths. We know Lovie isn't going anywhere but maybe a final bad showing by his coordinators will wake him up.
