"I've been saying it for a long time … this defense will play great football when we decide,"
I could not 'believe with my own eyes' that I was hearing Lance Briggs say these words. Does he have any idea of how insipid that statement is? Oh, and Lance, fyi, you SEE with your eyes, and BELIEVE with your mind. Just trying to help.

There is a direct inverse correlation between salaries and wins for the fiscally conservative teams in the NFL after they reach a Super Bowl. It has been this way and will always be this way.

Could we just please bring back ron rivera and fire lovie. He said he knew what he was doing when he fired him to hire his buddy. It's been two years.

Just do away with long term contracts - as the bears have learned they arn't worth the paper they are typed on. You have a guy with 4 years left on his contract and he gets jealous because players with newer contracts get a larger payoff and then he pouts and holds out. I wish they would show the video of when they signed the original contract and their soooooo happy.
Um I hope lovie finds out where his defense went to.

This defense BLOWS! So lame, so uninspired, so blah. Wait, that's the head coach too! FIRE EVERYONE FROM PHILLIPS ON DOWN! Make Ditka the GM and Singletary or Rivera the HC. But the McCaskey's are afriad of Ditka so scratch that. Hey McCaskey's your are a bunch of bums. Rich bums, but bums nonetheless. I feel better.

Could ya guys maybe "decide" to start playing great defense sometime before the season ends, Lance? Give me a break, everyone except Lovie can see Babich is in over his head and now the players are making bizarre excuses to avoid answering any direct questions.
