Everyone seems to have forgotten the Patriots. While not being a fan of theirs, do the Jets seriously think that New England WON'T wind up ahead of them in the AFC East? The 3 AFC games they have left are on the road, and I don't think they win any of them. If they're lucky, they may take Denver. Jets get the wild card and get knocked out in the first round. Happy Golfing!
Joe, it's nice to see you're just as stupid today as you were yesterday. The Jets have two road games left and they are against NFC teams. All the remaining home games are against AFC.

And cut the crap. It's pretty obvious you are a PATS fan.

Glauber, I'm just glad you came to your senses and retracted that insanely idotic statement you made earlier in the year when you said "Pennington would be doing just as good". I'm glad you at least have the courage to admit when you're wrong.
Unlike some other people on here, like JAY, who made stupid remarks and sh-i_t talked about the Jets and Favre and it has come back to smack him in the face.
Hey JAY, lets reminisce shall we. What was it you said at the beginning of the season, oh that's right.
"Favre is washed up, the Jets made a terrible deal"
"Favre is going to play in NY, like Namath played in LA, and Unitas played in San Diego, Terribly!"
"The Jets will win 8 games this year total, 9 if they're lucky, and no playoffs"
Hey Jay, it must really su_c-k being wrong all the time huh?
Just admit how wrong you were, and I'll offer you free football advice next time you feel like making a prediction about an NFL team. I'm here for you buddy.
I said you were an obnoxious putz. I stand by it as do most here. jets are playing well. enjoy it

I see a few Jets fans taking a "reality check breath". Very good. As a long time Giants fan, and NOT a Jets "hater", I know nothing is a "gimme", not for the G-Men either. I remember back in '89, we were the team to beat (supposedly) until the Rams knocked us off in the playoffs. And I never hear anyone talking about the "great '89 Rams". In fact, last year's run by us proves the old saying "on any given Sunday......".
There's actually a ton of season left.....a lot can happen. I won't start seriously fantasizing about this until both teams go to their championship games.
4 upset wins in a row like last years Giants is unheard of. Probably just as rare is a playoff tournament going through without at least ONE major upset. As a Giants fan, I of course like our chances....and the Jets look good too. It would be great for us NY sports fans. But I think it is WAAAYYY too early to be printing up those tickets.

A Jets/Giants Super Bowl? What a boring and disgusting thought. The Giants need to play a real team just like they did last year. I didn't watch the Yankees/Mets World Series and I sure as heck won't be anywhere near a TV if the TV execs set up a Manning v. Favre Super Bowl. Gag me.
Hey Jill, why don't you go up a hill.

"Subway Super Bowl" is another media invention created to hype the possibility of the Giants and Jets meeting in the Super Bowl. Of course, there is no subway in New Jersey at the Meadowlands, and even though both teams share Giants Stadium, the Super Bowl wouldn't even be played there. It would be nice if this happens, but it can't be compared to the Subway Series in baseball, which actually takes place in New York, with real New York teams, at stadiums serviced by the NYC subway system. Must be a slow sports day.

You can't call it a Subway Super Bowl. There's no subway in East Rutherford, and there's no subway in Tampa.

You can't call it the Subway Super Bowl. There's no subway in East Rutherford. I don't think there's one in Tampa either, unless you count Subway sandwich shops.

Hahaha....LOL. I remember it like it was yesterday. Hey...you're out in LA.....is Flipper still running? LMAO. He kept running right into the locker room. I forget if they had moved to St. Louis yet. Boy did that hurt. I actually still have the Simms Jersey I was wearing that day. Glad someone enjoyed it and remembers. The following year was pretty sweet, though.
Did you enjoy that one....you know, the 'no huddle, no possession' game?

These teams need to get a stadium in NEW YORK. As far as I'm concerned it's the New Jersey Giants and the New Jersey Jets. Doesn't make any sense to me. Is there any other team in football or any other sport that plays in one state but represents another state?
The Washington Redskins play in Maryland....stop complaining. NJ will never be on the Giants and Jets helmets, give it a rest!

I really don't see in the future a Giant vs Jet superbowl ever happening or for a very long time, that is if that match up don't happen this season. Primarily because of Favre, who is closing in on retirement age, as oppose to E Manning still having a good 6 or 7+ years of football left in him.

don't bother, Pat fans are still whininh that they only lost to the Jets because thay lost the OT coin toss. they ignore the fact that they couldn't stop the Jets on 3rd and 15 from the Jet 15 in OT, nor on 3 other 3rd down passes to Keller
