If they did happen to both make it, they should play the game right here in Giants stadium.

oh plsss.. the Jets barely beat a tom brady'less patriots team. the road to the superbowl still goes through NE, Colts, Steelers and Tenn... the Jets have a long long way to go. Miami also beat NE the first time they played and u saw what happened the second time..

Anything can happen in the playoffs. It's pretty silly even considering that either team will get in. I'm a Giants fan, and they're no lock either. Anything can happen and usually does. How many point underdog were the Giants every week of the playoffs last year? Now all of a sudden no one's stopping the Giants? Please.

That would be great. After backing the Jets for 28 years and living with the pain and ridicule it would be sweet to finally win the super bowl. It would even be sweet vindication to beat the bandwagon jumping front running Giants fans who do not have the heart to be a long time jets fan. The only way to make this sweeter would be to play it in Shea.

Have the Jets considered a quarterback for the future? Or is this just going to be another 40 year "apparition"?

Let's not get carried away here. There is still a bit of season ahead. When we all start to day dream about something like this, certain loses that shouldn't happen, happen. Keep that in mind.

The Yankees and The Mets played in The World Series not too long ago, so why not?

i think its important to mention #4 is not on the green bay packers, and if the giants faced the jets in the superbowl, it wouldnt be a repeat of the 07 nfc game. This jets team has more under the radar talent then the 07 pack. The giants are a great team, dominant to say the least, but there is alot of missing credit on both sides of the new york football jets. I think alot of giant fans will be shocked, to say the least, if the situation comes to be.

Let's not get crazy here. The Jets would have to go undefeated in the last 5 games to just tie the Packers record from last year. Plus the jets lost to Oakland this year, so there is no way they are better than the '07 Packers. Yes they are playing better now and could go 13-3 because they have a pretty easy schedule. But the '08 Giants are playing better than last year and if they stay healthy should beat the jets. Now I know that on any given sunday anything could happen but the Giants are playing great all around and as a tight unified team.

Listen we die hard Giant fans have the heart, remember we suffered through the '70s & '80s with Pisarcik, Brunner & Rutledge and in the '90s with Brown, Kanell & Graham. We just had better teams in between.

That would be kinda cool.
I hate the Giants.
They kicked GB out of the playoffs last year (but at least they defeated that cheat team).

Plus they cheated to beat the Bills in that SB.
Note how the Giants d-line constantly knocked the ball around to delay the hike of the ball to get extra breathing time against the no huddle.

Plus their uniforms are more boring than the Bears.(But at least they aren't racist ones like that Washington team)
