I saw Chris Long spend the entire game on his back and have no impact whatsoever against Virginia Tech. If he wasnt't related to a famous player, I don't think there'd be much hype about him and would be a third or fourth round pick.
Does that remind you of any other football player in New York?
I'm sure the lazy, sloppy Jets beat writers will push Chris Long down everyone's throats over the coming months so they'll have the built in story of pandering to Howie Long for "juicy" quotes in lieu of real reporting during Long's (short) career.
Besides, unless Kellen Clemens absoultely proves he is a lights-out no-doubt franchise QB over the remaining five games, YOU TAKE THE QUARTERBACK. Chances to take a top QB are too rare to pass up after such an unfortunate season...

Everyone who thinks Kellen Clemens is the answer raise your hands.
