Ok, now that the Jet's are finally moved into their new state of the art facility, When will the renaming ceromony take place? Whats the matter with the Jersey Jet's? They want their cake and eat it too! They moved from N.Y. to New Jersey lock stock and barrel, That to me says: GOODBYE! Why wouldn't they change their name? The fans deserve better than to be hung out to dry by these greedybastards! Same goes for the Giants, Who are these people kidding!I have gone to my last Jet's game!

PSLs, long drives from Long Island to the Meadowlands, $20 parking, no more summers at Hofstra, good riddance. If you ever win another super bowl you can find solace in your millionaire non-fans attending games just because they can. This ticket holder of 32 years is going, going, gone, goodbye.

This is what it is going to come down to. Lots of people like this person who refuse to care about the Jets. And I am sure there are plenty of Giant fans who feel the same way. What it boils down to is greedy owners, who will eventually get burned by keeping the regular fan out. AMEN!!

I can't believe this happened. I remember in 2005 we were so close getting a new stadium. Now we have less then what we started with.
It bothers me that not one politician, beat writer will complain about this.
I know its nothing like the Dodgers and Giants leaving but it hurts me very much to witness and watch this unfold.

I have been a die hard Jet fan foe 40 years I was heart broken when they left New York to play in New Jersey but they at least had half a home hereon Long Island.
But now since they moved everything to NJ they should go by the
NEW JERSEY JETS
There true State. I will now be a bill fan now

It's actually not all that uncommon for a professional team to identify itself with a major metropolital area, but actually not play within the city limits. The Washington Redskins, for example, play in Landover, Maryland and don't practice in DC. Same goes for the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL.

I'm sure there place is nice.
Should have been built on Long Island. As well as a stadium. Where this team belongs. Woody can say they now have home field but lets face it. We're always 2nd class as long as we share GIANTS Stadium. With the new stadium we just don't have to hang signs to make it "feel" like home. Now we have screens. Still the only orphens in sports.

While I'm also sad to see the Jets leave Hofstra, my personal opinion is that this new facility will help them compete not only in games, but in drawing talented players to the Green and White. Players like the facility, they play better and/or want to come here = we win more games.
Regarding the stadium, that's the fault of the people of NYC for allowing Dolan to run the city.

So now they have the nets, jets and giants..........who's next to go to nj? LI has super high taxes for what? Not even sports franchises want to be here.......maybe li will become the alcatraz of the east coast....

The new stadium won't be called Giants Stadium.
As for having a stadiul built on LI, NOTHING can ever get done on LI. It is by far the best example of THE WORST politicians. It takes YEARS just to get approval. I mean it's absolutely ridiculous. I don't blame the Jets or Giants for building the new stadium in NJ. If you want to blame anyone, blame the politicians in NY who talk, and talk, and talk, and never get anything done. Clearly NJ understands business and made sure the approval process moved along smoothly and quickly.

It already IS the alcatraz of the east coast. The Islanders are the only true LI team and going back to what I said in my last post, how many years has Wang been waiting patiently for a an approval of the new Islander project? I mean come on. If I'm a business guy like Wang, I say screw it, and pick my team up and move them to another state where they'll be more appreciated.

You are so right, they should be ashamed of themselves, what a bunch of back stabbers!

So where are your seats located, are the sight lines good, and how much do you want for them?

When are people going to realize that the Giants and Jets are New Jersey teams and have been since the the 1970's's and 1980's respectively. It is where you play games that count not where you practice. The Giants Super Bowl win was one of the great stories in sports history it was time the Patriots went down but it was Jersey's championship. Our tax money should have never been used for that Broadway ticker tape parade. New York should have been unhappy with the 1991 Giants Super Bowl victory over Buffalo because a New Jersey team beat a New York one. Yea thats right right sad to say the only football team New Yorkers should root for is the Bills.
