"One thing my father used to tell me when I was younger is things aren't as bad or as good as they seem," Bowens said. Mr. Bowens you're playing for the Jets things are worse than they seem. From Sammy Boaugh to Charlie Winner to Joe Walton to Rich Kotite to Eric "the Genius" Mangini the Titan/Jets have always SUCKED.

#2 Sep 16, 2008 are a moron. Yes the Jets only won one Super Bowl 39 years ago, and they had many a horrible season, but they had seasons where they made the playoffs and played rather well. I guess when you hate a team so much you will say anything, even if it isn't 100% truthful. I certainly was not happy with the play calling this past Sunday. Mangini and his coaches better come up with a better plan for the offense. Favre still can throw, so let him!!

Yes, if the Jets hadn't made those errors and hadn't played sloppily the outcome might have been different. But they did make the errors and they did pay sloppily. Hindsight is 20/20, but it doesn't change what occured.
By the way isn't the coaching staff supposed to coach the players to not make errors and not play sloppily? If they didn't know that before Sunday's game, what makes you think they know it now?

Excuses are for losers. Graham should be gone and Schott/Mangini must recognize that you can't run the same play with the same people 3 times in a row and be successful. You're not macho if you lose. The conservative offense almost cost us the Miami game. If you don't wake up the "O" San Diego will blow you out before half-time. How about some aggressiveness on this team? Mark me tired of losing.

Here's a suggestion for Eric. I appreciate your knowledge of the game, but next time your offense has first and goal please spread the other team's defense. It's a lot easier to run or pass when you don't have 2,000 lbs of beef between you and the goal line. It's always harder to defend the whole field especially when you don't know what's coming. Just a suggestion dude.

We hear this BS every year how "close" they are and that the mistakes are "correctable". I'm am just personally sick of hearing it. Instead of saying the staff made a mistake and that they should have tried to mix it up a bit with the play calling (not only at the goaline, the entire game), he still tries to defend himself and his fellow staff members terrible coaching decisions. The Jets were soundly out coached. Simple as that.

Let's be honest here, we expected a Belichick-type coach and we got one. Its too bad we got Belichick in Cleveland.

We also were expecting big things out of B. Schottenheimer. Why? His father has always been a loser and too conservative in his playcalling. Like father like son.
