Nick Ferguson and Sam Brandon going down was the main reason the defense fell apart. They allow Lynch to play closer to the line and the "Big " nickel defense was very effective for the Coyer led D-fense. When we went from 3 starting safeties to 1 they never recovered. Nick Ferguson is the most underrated player in the league, he is awesome.
