Anthony Smith signs with Green Bay Packers

Why does everyone treat the 3-4 like it's special relativity? It's diamond zone, occasional press. We've got to stop the run. That was our problem last year. We can play the Oklahoma 52 (old school) for all I care. We have got to stop the run--3 backers, 4 backers or 2 backers.

it all starts on both lines.You are right stopping the run is priority! and i think we have the starters at LB for a 3-4,we just need a few more dlinemen and that might be abit hard to pull off in one offseason!

The Packers didn't have three linebackers that could get the job done last year. The Packers only have two of them penciled in to start this year. So apparently the Packers just need a few more D linrmen and a few more LBs. I agree rhat this may take more than one offseadon. The good news(for the Packer fans that enjoy losing)is that this provides additional excuses for loser fans to extend their love affair with the Packers loser GM. How many more losing seasons do we have to tolerate from Thompson now because of his decision to switch to the 3-4?

Eric a few weeks ago stated he did not think Kampman could play the LB spot now he says they have the LB. He has done the same with a lot of the issues on here. For them then against them. It just depends on what he reads from day to day and what he decides to beleive at the given time.

Hawk and Barnett in the middle, Chilar and Popinga on the outside,you also have Desmond Bishop,so we need some depth at LB,so Jack that answers your complaint now doesnt it?

have we forgotten about cullen jenkins around here, all you guys sound like vikings fans, because that is all i hear when i am around them, whining and crying! Everybody for the most part cries about TT, for the media attention and circus that was in green bay last year they did pretty damn good considering they lost to 4 playoff teams by a combined total of 10 points, our nfc championship year we won those games with a 16 year veteran QB, we are just fine. Aaron Rodgers is a very good QB, and I'll say what Ron Jawarski said this team with a couple more players, is a dynasty waiting to happen and i know he knows alot more than all of you idiots do don't forget we had key position injurys last year with atari, grant,jenkins,al harris,nick barnett, and a.j hawk played hurt most of the year. So quit whining and cheer your team not complain about them!

NO, as said chillar was a back up, They have Kampman listed as an outside LB or are you now the coach. And the worry is kampman may not work out there and may not be able to handle the new D end with how they need to play in the new D. You seem to think you set the line up . But your is totally differant than what GB is saying. None of the LB could drop into coverage last year and they will have to now also. Watch the other OLB who play this D GB has none like that. Jenkins will be fine and picket may be ok too but GB needs depth at LB and D line they are far far away from being set.........
