They absolutely are not better off. Ron Wolf won a Super Bowl in five years, Ted is into it six years and has a record just over .500. Had he invested a player or two (Randy Moss), he may have won two Super Bowls and surpassed Ron Wolf but because of his ego and his draft only philosophy, the Packers will always be mediocre to just good. Woodson, Tauscher, Clifton, Barnett, Driver and Jenkins have but a couple years left and other than WR, Ted has no legitimate replacements. RB is weak, OL is weak, special teams are horrible! Ron Wolf brought in Santana Dotson, Reggie White, Sean Jones, Eugene Robinson and Ron Cox to supplement his great drafts and trade for Brett Favre. In addition, he signed Andre Rison when his WR corps was depleted in 96. Ted has done nothing close. Fire TT now!

You are cracked!

At QB, Favre is better now (look at last year's stats) and was much better then. Favre is a winner and Rodgers has proven nothing but a loser, so far. The special teams now suck at all positions. Grady Jackson is better than Ryan Pickett. Kabeer was better than Mathews (look at the stats) but Mathews will be a stud. The whole offensive line except at center was better then. RB was better then. Javon Walker was a better receiver than Driver, Jennings, Jones or Nelson will ever be. He got hurt and obtained an attitude but back then he was head and shoulders above our current receivers. TE I agree with you. FB is a joke. The 2nd year guy may develop into as good a football player as Henderson but I will bet you $1,000 that Hall or the other slug will never make the pro-bowl as Henderson did. You are so biased. GM2

You are really funny, you were joking right? I mean Walker better than Driver or Jennings? Yeah, Mandrich was better than Clifton too. The Pro Bowl is nothing but a popularity contest. Rodgers a loser?

The way the that newspapers are going (soon to be obsolete) it's no wonder that everybody with any brains has already left that dying business. People like Mike Vandermause are the only ones left because they're too stupid to get a real job and too lazy to get one that requires the ability to think.

Sadly, nearly everyone in the media sucks up to their sponsers and any and every person that is in any authority position. Vandermause wouldn't dare bite the hand that feeds him. I bet Vandermause doesn't grow any balls until after Ted Thompson gets fired.

Player wise in some positions they may be better. But look at the win/loss record between Mike S. and teddy boy (div. champ. ,playoffs , winning seasons, etc). It is a win now thing .Not lets wait and see what happens. And this is a GB paper there home town paper .Just like every teams paper/media they all for the most part paint a nice picture of there team. But the GBPG even on there insider blog block all neg said about the team and teddy.

Ted contols access to everyone from the coaches to the ground crew. If the GBPG says anything bad about Ted, the next thing you know the heat in the press box won't be working. Mike Vandermause is too chicken to speak the truth. Mike's been crawling up Ted's ass for the last 5 years. It's what the media types do.

If Mike is like most writers for newspapers he just wants easy access in order to get in and out, meet his deadline, and get to the bar by happy hour.
