The Jets are next. Should be an easy one but who knows?

I just heard Najeh Davenport on a live radio show.
He said the Jets are "dangerous." They are gonna throw alot at us." I'm just wondering if he and all of the Steelers are going to take those words to heart. As we know the team has let down on teams of the Jets quality in the past.
The question is will they be ready? I would like to see The "O" resting on a cushion at the start of the half and Charlie B and company mopping up the mess.

Between u people and ESPN I don`t know who`s worse. Does somebody really think this team is going some where? They were lucky to beat the Browns on Sunday especially going up against the 32nd ranked defence in the league. Check out their schedule, they have not played a good team all year. The only one they do play is the Pats and I`m willing to bet $100 to a dollar they lose by 3 tds. Any takers?

Pay attention to the stats and you'll see the Steelers absolutely dominated the Browns defense. The closeness of the score was due to special teams lapses, and you won't find any Steelers fans defending their current kick coverage units. Teams don't write their own schedules, but with the exception of two uncharacteristic lapses, they've done what good teams are supposed to do to mediocre teams--absolutely kick the crap out of them. I'm too superstitious to make predictions about the Pats game, and anyway, I don't care that much about beating them Dec. 9th--I'm thinking ahead to beating them in the playoffs.

*cough* Bullshit *cough* I don't know what game you were watching, but those first three touchdowns were not won with Special teams. They were that offense. But I guess I have to give you one thing, the ST did get them within 40 - 50 yards from the end zone.

But a win is a win, a loss a loss. I admit to it, you should concentrate on the real world. You will not beat NE in the regular or the Playoffs. Don't let your pride bring your emotions to these boards.....

I changed my name to mock you squeelers, just in case you didn't catch that. Nice comeback, btw, couldn't come back with anything else "not-so-racits"? Leave the biggotry for the politicians, please. Oh, btw, when you go to sleep tonight, remember how the "Nazis" stationed overseas or in war right now are keeping your behind safe so you can mock the service men and women in Uniform. Very classy, sir.

Germans aren't a race buddy. And btw you aint protecting me from nothin hangin out in germany. I sleep safe because my door is locked not because the politicians and the defense industry are looting our national treasury. Who are we afraid of "the commies"? The sky is falling chicken little run for your life! Calling our team the squeelers aint even funny. The Steelers are the meanest toughest team on the block, as military you ought to respect that quality.

I respect the team, not some BS commentators on forums. Your are absolutely correct, Germans are not a race but his comments do fall into this category of racism:

[quote]
the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.

Oh, since you know about how the military likes to "hang out" in Germany, then you know that this is the deployment hub for the South West Asian region of US troops? Sure you did. As for the sky is falling, you did get quite complacent, haven't you. Commies? Wow, cold war is long over bud, I did note your sarcasm, just about 30 years too late. But I digressed and brought this upon myself. I also have to take note to another statement you said; No squeelers really isn't funny, but it does get a bite or two from Steeler fans, so I got another one; you.

Bullshit yourself. What post were you reading? I never said all the points came from special teams breakdowns, I just said the score wouldn't have been as close without them. You going to dispute that? And I've never made any predictions about the Pats--not one. But I'm not going to sit here and say I give up on the idea that we could ever beat them. I'll leave that kind of inferiority complex to Browns fans.

100 to 1 and the pats by 21 points? I'll put 100 bucks on that one. Do you have 10k to lose? Don't quit your day job you'd never make it as a gambler.
Hey Buddy, After watching the Jets game I`m thinking about 200 to 1. That`s OK the have the ruff-tuff Finns coming to town next week. Like I try to explain to u people they have played no one this season. what are they going to do when they meet up with the BIG BOYS?

After watching the Jets game, I don't blame you for thinking that. The Steelers are a team with some amazing talent, but some serious flaws and a shaky mental toughness that seems to cause them to melt down before highly-motivated bad teams. Unlike, say, the Ravens, however, they are a team that has the personnel and the coaching staff to compete and they CAN get better. Whether they can get better enough to beat the "Big Boys"--well, we'll let time determine that.

With the soft Defensive line, we shouldn't have a problem with Willie... He'll get 100 yards...

"shouldn't"...sounds like a very confident word there...he'll need 200 yds and a healthy dose of prayer.

FWP says he likes the field turf. 200 yds. just may be in sight. He is due for a breakout game and I'm not sure the Pats are up to stopping him. They will be still pulling spinters out from the lumber the Ravens brought to Foxboro. GO BLACK AND GOLD!!!!!
