Kinda thought that myself. He was not all that when he came from the Raiders. I thought we pretty much got hozed on the Moss deal. Not sure what these other people are talking about... Saying that he would be a great pickup? I just remember that group of linebackers got burned A LOT!

Right now he will fill a much empty hole.
Plus, he knows our system and he sure beats a blank!

The guy is a former first round draft choice and just 2 years ago was 2nd in tackles for the Vikings.

There is absolutely no one else available that fits the need better than Napo.
I'm interested to see how he might do for us.

Well in that case... Fielding 11 is better than 10. Hopefully he can contribute and help this defense sustain the onslaught! Kill the Bears...

I realize Erin Henderson is a rookie, but he was a stud in college, comes from a stud family, and is younger and faster than Harris. Move Greenway over to the middle and slide Erin in his spot. Erin played very well in pre-season and he has a knack for being around the ball. EJ should be giving him a crash course right now... Just a thought, like going for two when you're down two lol

You think we got "hozed" in the Moss deal? I'll pretty much confirm that 100%. Chilly doesn't like to deal with "difficult" WRs as is evidenced in his current WR group and his WR group with Philly. That is a mistake because we could have picked up Roy Williams or Ocho Cinco, but there's no way Chilly would be able to handle them.

N.Harris is the best we can do right now unfortunately. I like the idea of moving Greenway to middle, like he played at Iowa, but then we lose speed on the outside and he really isn't that big.

You got that right Fran. Harris had a very good year right before he left, and he would be an immediate upgrade from the rookie. Losing EJ was huge, and last year he was instrumental in smashing Chicago right in the mouth. When EJ hit the IR, a lot of toughness landed on the injured reserve as well.
I had Henderson as one of the big three; K. Williams, Winfield, and Henderson. The 70 million dollar man comes in without a medal at 4th.

with herron injured harris would probably be a good pick up. no doubt, the moss trade was horrible, but if we can sign him the second time around for next to nothing it would probably be a better decision than throwing Erin in there. we already get beat on the edges so moving greenway to the middle would gash us a little more.

I don't know 4o, I think I have to disagree with you on our "70 million dollar man"
I'm pretty sure K. Williams wouldn't be cruising to his best sack year ever, if it wasn't for Allen.
He's the real deal and I'll bet he proves that in the next half dozen games.

Napoleon is a good immediate fix; yes, losing Henderson was very hurtful to the team. Press on...what else can we do? Skol, Vikings.

If it wasn't for K.Williams Minnesota's defense wouldn't be in the top ten.Allen is not the best in the defence for Minn. and im sure everyboby knows that.Allen will only get 7.00 to 8.00 sacks this year.Antoine winfield is the best defensive player on the vikings.

Look people- We can't replace EJ Henderson unless we trade for Urlacher, and even then, these days, i think EJ is a better choice.

That being said, getting Harris back would be better than having Herron injured every other play all year and relying on Circiu, or however you spell that.

Harris was great his last year with the Vikes and first in the Tampa 2 defense. Why was this guy released from the Chiefs?

Harris led the Vikings the year before he left for KC. The Vikings wanted to keep him but he got a huge contract from KC and the vikimgs could not match it. He led KC in tackles in 2007 and KC cut him because they are going with a youth movement and is rebuilding and did not want to pay him the huge contract.

P.S. vote for Al Franken! Even I am going to vote for AL!!!

would not be looked at as a bad trade if would have picked someone good instead of williamson.
