Just googled "Jasper Brinkley" and watched a few videos from his 2008 college days. Man, this guy brings a serious load of hurt on his tackles. I see no reason to worry about how he will play next Sunday. The Vikings have got themselves another hard-hitting beast of a middle linebacker, that's what.
Seems the Vikings have been good at picking up thru the draft players that are over-looked and they always excel very well. P. Harvin & AD have proven that they were worthy contenders. I hear alot of good things about J. Brinkley, so let's see how well he can do in the game. I hope he's been keeping up with the style of the Vikings defense where he can just jump in and play. It'll be interesting to see how well he can perform. Would be awesome to hear how he has an awesome game.

Klink breaking a leg is not something I'd hope for, but with the new contract how will he ever be replaced by a real coach?
The game agaist the Cards demonstrated his incompetance. The Vikes have about 20 very good to excellent players, yet he can't put it together and he can't manage a game.
I agree, ten Pro Bowl contenders on one team and this ****** clown had his *** handed to him.
He brought them together but he has no ***** clue what to do with them.
Dont even think beyond the first round in the playoffs.

Madden, you're right and wrong.
Yes, he has no clue how to coach this team.
No, he did not bring this team together.
Rick Spielman had more to do with that.
Remember, both AD and Harvin "fell" to us.
And don't forget, Childress moved up to the 2nd round to take a 5th - 6th rounder, Jackson. THEN stubbornly refused to recognize he had made a mistake. For 3 years he refused to bring in a quality QB (Brees was there for Christís sake!) and stuck with "His" guy.

And then there's the press conferences...

The guy is a tool and I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Favre finally retires and starts to talk about his opinion of Childo after a few beers...

Hey Vikes. How bad do you want to win the Super Bowl? Do less talk and more practice and focus on the field. The only record that matters is the first Super Bowl win. If ever you win it, give the game ball to EJ. Millions of fans admire him for his leadership. He does his talking on the field and we thank him for his community service as well as the other Vikings players and organization. I hope this is the year for you guys. You are fun to watch.
