I wish nothing but the best for Dan. You are the first one of us from Taravella to make it. We are behind you all the way. Wouldn't mind seeing you in Miami if you get healthy again.

Get Some!!!

Dolphins better pick him up ASAP.

Everything happens for a reason. Him getting cut from Carolina is our oppurtinity to bring home....The all time leading tackler in UM's history, a charactor guy who leads by example, a pro bowl Linebacker who had 25 tackles in the Superbowl, The only three-time captain in Miami history, Dan became the first player in college football history to win the top three defensive awards, earning all three following his senior year in 2001. He captured the Butkus Award, given to the nation's top linebacker, the Bednarik Award, awarded to the country's top defensive player by the Maxwell Football Club, and the Nagurski Award, bestowed upon college football's best defensive player by the Football Writers Association. He ended his career with 532 tackles, the most in Hurricanes annals and Big East Conference history, and also amassed 44 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, two interceptions, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and 12 passes defensed. Moreover, his 43 starts stand as the most starts as well as the most consecutive starts of any linebacker or defensive player in school history. Shifted to middle linebacker for his senior campaign in 2000, Dan was a consensus first-team All-America after accumulating 138 tackles to become the first defender in school history to surpass the 100-tackle plateau in four consecutive seasons.

Dan Morgan has Bill Parcells type player written all over hime.

Bring Dan to the Phins!

It just goes to show there are no guarantees with a number one pick.

Hope Dan lands somewhere but 5 concussions work against that.

Dan has represented Broward County High athletics with a tremendous work ethic and integrity, that many an athlete should emulate. I wish him the best in the future whatever it may hold.

All of that is great but the Dolphins don't need another injury prone veteran. We need to build this franchise around youth and a core that can stay healthy. I love Dan Morgan and everything he did for the Canes but I think its time to hang em' up.

Injury prone "VETERAN"???......

Joe Luis was 75 years old when he fought!!

If Dan is healthy and cleared to play by his doctors.....then the Dolphins will get the best linebacker/leader in the business.

He never missed a game at UM. Maybe this brisk S Florida weather is just what the doctor ordered.

Bring Dan to the Phins!!!

If Senior Seau can play like he does at 39 yrs old...then Dan can most certainly play at the Pro Bowl level, at 29 yrs of age.

Giddy up.

Dano, you've done your part brother. Hopefully you have enough $$$, and don't have to worry about living. Don't get hurt worse Dan. This guy was the definition of a LINEBACKER, and TEAM player. He left his heart, and soul on the field everytime he played. Good Luck in whatever Dan, You're FRICKIN ANIMAL
