Mike Vrabel coming back to Ohio State. This is a great choice for Coach Fickel. Two "Home Grown" Buckeyes, and two of the best ever to have played at Ohio State. Now we need a Top Shelf QB Coach, with OSU roots. Where's Bob Hoying these days??? I'm really excited for the future of OSU Football under the leadership of coaches "Luke & Mike". OSU Fans have a lot of future success to look forward to. "GO BUCKS", and Congratulations to Luke Fickel, and Mike Vrabel.

Who cares? What about losing all of the recruits to Michigan? Fire Gene Smith.

Totally agree ...
Vrabel is a great pick ...
After 14 years in NFL, with 3 rings, the recruits and players will listen to him ... No doubt he will be a solid recruiter and coach .

Now we just need a offensive coordinator ... Sorry but i simply can t trust Bollman to run the offense .

Coach Luke is on the right track ... For my part i have always been a HUGE Tress fan and will always be but i m sure Luke will get the job done ... Of course i think he will be back in 2012 .

Buckeyes Forever ...
In Tress i will always trust !!!

Your loss is our gain. Recruits know when to leave a sinking ship. Vrabel is coming on board, hoping maybe he can get the head coaching job when Fickell is fired after the disastrous season OSU is about to experience. Enjoy!

Good logic. The interim coach will get "fired" and the assistant coach, who will have all of one year experience under his belt, will be hired as the head coach.

Unlike Michigan, we won't be relegated to our fourth or fifth choice...

This is something that I feel Jim Tressel would never have allowed. Having a former NFL player as a coach, for fear that the staff and fans would figure out how inept he reallt was. Thank you Luke, you are on the right track.

So what ! Go to that puke school up north. He was uncommittal before so go leave the state. Good luck because he is an Ohio kid but he will soon realize that he should have stayed with his original committment. Vrabel is a great hire for OSU. He will bring alot of energy and experience to the program. We may have a down year this year in recruiting but mark my word OSU will rebound from this.

Vrabel is a great choice.
Proven winner. Most of the kids grew up watching
him play. Also, GREAT teacher in Belichick.
Will have broad appeal across the board.
But, it could be just for this year.
I believe Meyer is going to be the next coach.
Especially with him buying Herbstreits home.
OSU, for you jealous A-Holes, will not get and should not get anything more than what Gene Smith
has already given up.
And.. don't be to smug McChicken fans, it took Tressels stupidity for you to get any descent players. So, enjoy this year. Just this year!

It's too bad that Vrabel can't suit up for us.

We'll see how long he lasts after the NCAA finishes cleaning our clock.

Huge scholarship reductions and bowl bans will emasculate our program.

We just wanted to liven thing up a bit. You are reality challenged like most Buckeye fans who thought that the cheating scandal would have no effects and OSU would continue on like nothing happened. Well, guess what. It's going to be like the Michigan Basketball program when they got slapped with sanctions in the 90s. It has taken this long for them to get back to where they can compete in the Big Ten and nationally. All your threats about losing to the Buckeyes are empty ones. The tide has turned and it's going to be Michigan on top for the future.

And so the trashing of Kalis begins. OSU fans are ready to throw him under the bus just like they did with Pryor and Clarett.

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight.
